(Local) Research Experience Principal Investigator: Older Adults in Kentucky Department of Corrections Prisons University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work Study aims include identify and describe 1) incarcerated older adults experiences via self-report, institutional record review, and focus groups conducted with relevant stakeholder (i.e., prison administration; forensic service providers (e.g., nurses, correctional officers) and caregivers in Kentucky state prisons; and 2) the strengths and barriers of programming and services for incarcerated older adults in Kentucky state prisons. Needs Assessment to Enhance Financial Well-being for Successful Re-entry University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work Study aims include identify and describe 1) financial wellbeing, health, and quality of life in returning citizens and 2) relationships among salient variables in an effort to construct an informational foundation for later implementation and CV SGProst 6

The Perception Gap in Prison Healthcare: Correlates of Patient-Caregiver Interrater Agreement Florida State University College of Social Work Study aims relate to the identification and description of the presence, magnitude, and correlates of inter-rater agreement of quality of life ratings between patients and their peer caregivers in prison healthcare settings. Quality of Life in Law Enforcement Officers: The Effects of Stress, Trauma, and Coping, Institute for Family Violence Studies Florida State University Study seeks to examine independent and interactive relationships among stress, trauma, adaptive and maladaptive coping, and quality of life in law enforcement officers.
