2 Character I believe that I exhibit character of NHS applicant quality. I am honest and love my community. I am very reliable. I like helping others. I have my own set of moral and ethical principles. I try to help other make their own set of ethical principles. Other aspects of my character should be in this paragraph. I have only had one referral, and I have learned my lesson and become a better person from it. Being inducted to NHS would be an honor and would allow me to dedicate myself even further to thing I am already dedicated to. I would like to be inducted into the National Honor Society for several reasons. I would like to show off my awesome character, service, leadership, and scholarship by being in NHS. I try my best to support my community, and NHS would allow me to use this specific character trait to do so. There was this one time where I demonstrated myself being of good character: I did this for this person, and they said I truly changed their life. I would put many other anecdotes here, but I believe this one is the most important because it demonstrates one of the central qualities of my character. Being in NHS would be great because it would allow me to interact with other people that have this aspect of my character. The other reasons I want to be in NHS are this reason, that reason, and this other thing. Being inducted into NHS would be an honor for me. If I were an inducted into NHS, it would be an honor for me because I really like NHS and the people who are in it, and it would be super cool to be in a group with them. It would be an honor to be part of such a big group, especially that we have such a little school. I would love to be in NHS because of the honor of working with the other members of NHS in our school. I would really like to get in NHS because I have made a difference, and I would like to use this generic reason to be in NHS here.

3 Service Community service is a very important part to a functioning community, and any community can benefit from people donating their time to honorable causes. I am an awesome volunteer and try to give back a lot, but I only have time to volunteer at a couple places. One place I volunteer at the most is the Place A. I volunteer here because there is a great need for volunteers here; its schedule fits very well with mine, so I can give the greatest extent of my time to my community. I clean a bunch of stuff here, and do work that paid people don't want to do. I really like to volunteer here because there's a bunch of professional people that need to use their time on really important stuff and not on cleaning. Although they could hire more people to clean, it would really use up their funding and prevent them from doing more stuff for our community. I think I make a benefit for our community here because I spend a lot of time here, and the service I do here benefits people that benefit the community. I volunteer like 2 hours a week here, and Person A is in charge of me here. They can be contacted at addresspersona@ serviceprovider.com. I also volunteer at the Place B. I volunteer here because it helps the part of the community that needs it most. I really like volunteering here because my time goes directly to people who need help. I volunteered here because I noticed that the library was in need of assistance. While at the library, I mostly did organization of books and materials and other stuff and this sentence is a run on to demonstrate how much stuff I did here. I also completed basic weekly tasks that must be neglected by the library staff in order to get more important duties done, such as cleaning windows, computer screens, and other small tasks that can be postponed. 5 Leadership I exemplify leadership in many ways in my life. I do a bunch of stuff in our community that gets formal leadership recognition. I also do a bunch of other stuff that doesn't get recognition, but I still like to lead and organize activities in order to help people in our community. Leadership is a big time commitment, but I still really enjoy helping others enough to help others help others. I have this quality of a leader, and that quality of a leader. The quality of a leader that makes me really qualified to as a leader is my experience with lots of different organizations. One occasion where I have shown leadership is during my generic boy/girl scout troop. I have this formal leadership role that is called "this". I lead a bunch of young kids and teach them how to do stuff. I lead other people by teaching them how to do jobs that I have done in the past, especially leadership roles. I also organize community events through this organization, and we fundraise to help people get stuff like basic needs and education. Although I didn't get formally elected to a leadership position, I took a very active role in this particular club. I did a bunch of stuff in this leadership role, and it could not have been done without my ideas and contributions. I can fill the rest of this page with stuff about this leadership role.
