1 A Rainbow of Resources for Hawai i Island Families 2012
2 Aloha, KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS A Rainbow of Resources for Hawaii Island Families is a project of the Baby STEPS to Stronger Big Island Families Council. We are committed to helping all keiki on Hawaii Island to be happy, healthy and to thrive by supporting families, strengthening practitioners and engaging communities. This resource directory is an attempt to connect families to programs and services as a way to strengthen families. It also serves to connect providers to other providers strengthening the network of community wide support. It is our hope that you will be able to find, screen for eligibility and contact the needed services within your community. While some agencies offer services island wide, others are specific to a target community, geographic location or ethnic group. The resources are divided by geographic district and by service type. The map on the back cover will help you identify the corresponding colored pages specific to services in your area. We hope you will find this directory helpful and easy to use.
