There is also free use of copier and fax machines, as well as assistance to apply for food stamps, Medicaid, cash assistance or Kid Care through ACCESS computer center. Jewish Family Services of Greater Florida Lee Road, Winter Park, Florida Emergency Assistance to include food and financial aid for rent and utilities in a one-time assistance program. The Mustard Seed of Central Florida Mustard Seed Lane, Orlando, Florida Furniture & Clothing bank to help to rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy. Rescue Outreach Mission of Sanford West 13th St., Sanford, Florida Comprehensive Case Management using the Family Team Conferencing Model to provide emergency shelter, food, clothing and spiritual guidance to disadvantage, needy and homeless families with children. A newly designed State of the Art Learning Center provides residents with the tools they need to take on-line classes, write resumes and more. 1

5 Community Organizations BETA Center, Inc Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida BETA Center offers children and parents the knowledge and support needed for strong and healthy families, with focus on teen moms and at-risk families. Parents learn about prenatal attachment, baby brain development, child development, infant mental health and other aspects of caring for and raising a baby. Childcare is provided for those who attend the Beta Center School, and to residential parents. Car Seat Fitting Information The Altamonte Springs Police Department conducts child safety seat inspections free of charge at the Altamonte Mall COPS Center, by appointment, Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. We are conveniently located at the Altamonte Mall lower level between JCPenney and Macy s. Catholic Charities A range of social services including Food Bank, Emergency Services, Health Services, Homeless & Transitional Services, Immigration Services, Refugee Services, Senior & Housing Services.
