9 What Are Employees Saying? Since June I have been watching my food intake as well as working out 5 days a week. In the process I have lost over 55 pounds, and I feel great. I think the catalyst for me was the healthy living pledges for the extra wellness credits. I have a few more pounds to lose but the overall end result is that I feel lighter and I am happier ~ RBC employee What Are Employees Saying? Our branch has created an internal fun group called "The Belly Busters" who are meeting weekly to discuss our eating and wellness regime. We are helping each other lose weight and in the first week, 9 people shed a total of 12 lbs. To encourage everyone to eat breakfast, we decided we would pool our funds and buy a blender for the branch kitchen. The sales force offered to award us a blender if we exceeded certain targets for referrals. And so the rallying began and we exceeded our weekly goal by 3! Since then, our "Belly Busters group are enjoying breakfast daily, and now the rest of the team, are jumping on board. ~RBC Branch Manager

10 What Are Employees Saying? It s all about individuals making decisions that are right for them. We can provide opportunities, and profile some of the great tools available to all RBC employees such as the RBC EmployeeCare program, the Living Well site, and Career Advisor, and support employees in their efforts to find balance and take an active role in designing their own lives. Everyone is so committed to putting our clients first, but we can only do that if we are taking care of ourselves, and each other.
