We are pleased to inform you that the 2017 PSND Annual Convention will be held on 5-6 October 2017 at Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas, Manila. The convention will be participated in by nutritionist-dietitians, nutrition action officers, nutrition program coordinators, allied professionals and students. Every year, the PSND, Inc. organizes a convention to serve as a venue for its members, local chief executives, health and nutrition workers and development planning officers to update and upgrade their knowledge and to renew their commitment to the nutrition and dietetics profession. The convention has been a continuous catalyst in setting new ideas and generating awareness in empowering the profession. With the theme Cultivating Climate-Resilient Food Systems for Nutrition and Health, the convention calls for nutritionists, dietitians and allied professionals to adapt sustainable solutions to address public health concerns triggered by climate-change, while alleviating its ill-effects on the food systems we rely on. In this regard, may we invite your Nutrition Action Officer, members of the Nutrition Committee and other personnel and allies on climate-change response in your LGU to attend this year s convention on official capacity. We will appreciate your support to the participants in covering their registration fee including transportation, board and lodging.
