The lesser extra-corporeal suture :) Is there any role for this suture? How this suture can change your daily practice. 10:15-10:45 TEA 10:45-11:15 Taming the needle. (It s like golf, all in the wrist!) Needle control, positioning and applied tissue-needle dynamics. We demonstrate how to make those difficult, angled, vertical and horizontal sutures. 11:15-13:00 Working with tissue and applying the above lessons on real tissue. The small and large bowel, working with bowel, the principles: Dr Tim Forgan, a trained laparoscopic colo-rectal surgeon will take you through this session. Principles and caveats of dealing with a bowel injury.
