2 AB Kauno Grudai, Kaisiadoriu Paukstynas, Vilniaus Paukstynas and subsidiary companies have formed one of the largest, most modern and economically strongest business mergers in Lithuania, namely, the KG Group of companies. AB Kauno Grudai is Lithuanian leading producer and exporter of compound feed and one of the leading producer and exporter of premix, protein concentrates and feed additives in Baltic States. The company has over a half-century of experience in the production of compound feed. Our head office located in Kaunas, Lithuania. Our company group have been in the exporting field for many years today and we do export to these countries: Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Belorus, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria. To our company groups belongs the biggest poultry farms in Lithuania - AB Vilniaus paukstynas and AB Kaisiadoriu paukstynas. AB Kauno Grudai can offer: high quality premixes protein concentrates licks for cattle pre starter feed raw materials for feed industry. All raw materials used in production are tested in the company s laboratory. We mainly produce for these markets: poultry feed, cattle feed, rabbit feed, fur animals feed, fish feed and other. But actually we are producing as per buyer receipt, so we can prepare different kinds of premixes, protein concentrates and additives. AB Kauno Grudai also arrange additional services: technical and nutritional consult of how best to feed your animals, laboratory services for feed analysis, feed formulation for many type of animals. All of that gives us the confidence that we can meet your requirements for high quality and competitive products, which will bring a considerable economical effect and constantly improve the quality of the production in the field of animal breeding. Production of high quality is guaranteed by the company introduced the HACCP and ISO 22000:2005 quality system. The products produced by the combined fodder, premixes and protein concentrates business are used by the poultry farming leaders in Lithuania: Kaisiadoriu Paukstynas and Vilniaus Paukstynas. Vilniaus and Kaisiadoriu poultry farms have 40 modern poultry houses for breeding flocks. The companies annually collect more than 50 million incubator eggs; 10 percent of which are exported while the others are used inside the companies. Vilniaus and Kaisiadoriu poultry farms annually hatch more than 40 million broiler chickens. 20 percent of one-day broiler chickens are exported, 20 percent are sold to households, while the rest are used inside the companies. Vilniaus and Kaisiadoriu poultry farms produce more than 30 million broiler chickens per year. More than 4500 tonnes of fresh and frozen production is sold monthly.
3 EFFECTUS PRE-START FEED FOR PIGLETS Piglets must be fed properly balanced feed with quality parameters fully complying with the physiological needs of the animals in order to ensure maximum growth of the piglets, obtain optimal feed conversion and strengthen their immune system. New born pigs have undeveloped endogenous enzymes, their digestive tract does not produce such enzymes as lipase, amylase, maltase, pepsin and chymotrypsin. Thus, it is very important to select high quality easy digestible feed raw materials and use high quality supplements and required amino acids balance ratio. Cereal seeds used in feed production are purchased from farmers whose crop production is controlled by KG Group (AB Kauno Grudai) An analysis of the purchased grain is performed in the company s laboratory. Its quality, protein, fat and fibre content and their components, and the quantity of mycotoxins are determined in the laboratory. This allows us to select only the best grain for further production. ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT Proteins and amino acids in the feed ensure good growth and health. High quality raw materials, milk and whey powder. The ideal protein concept is applied to balance amino acids. Properly selected concentration and balance of calcium and phosphorus. For improved phosphorus digestion the newest 6-phytase is used. Enzymes characterized by xylanase, beta-xylanase and cellulase activity are used in order to avoid the negative impact of non-starch polysaccharides. Prebiotic (manan-oligosaharide) is added to improve the gut health, contributing to microflora recovery. Feed enriched with sweeteners and flavours has improved palatability. Metabolism energy and lysine ration is optimally balanced in the feed.
