Tony played 3 seasons in the NFL before becoming head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coaching the team from 1996 to Tony then joined the Indianapolis Colts as head coach in He led them to victory in Super Bowl XLI in 2007, the first for an African American coach. He retired from coaching in 2008 and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Tony is the author of Quiet Strength and Uncommon, both of which reached the New York Times Bestseller List. These books serve as memoirs of Tony s successful NFL career, as well as the adversities he faced throughout his life that helped shape his coaching and leadership style. He shares his secrets for achieving success and the importance of living a life of true significance. Tony is also involved with multiple charitable organizations. He founded the Tampa, Floridabased Dungy Family Foundation, which provides educational, emotional, and financial support to local communities. He also helped launch the All Pro Dad Program, designed to equip fathers with the moral and educational tools necessary to make them better fathers and role models. Wright, MD Gainesville, FL This course will provide a full day of education on key issues in shoulder arthroplasty anatomic and reverse as well as a full day on sports medicine topics, such as instability, traumatic elbow injuries, and rotator cuff repair. The course will feature two live surgeries, debates, rapid-fire case reviews, workshops, and didactic presentations, with ample time during sessions for participants to ask questions of the distinguished faculty. In addition, a pre-course cadaver lab on advanced shoulder arthroplasty surgical techniques will be offered for interested registrants. COURSE OBJECTIVES On completion of this course, learners will be able to: Apply innovative methods of assessment and management to various shoulder and elbow disorders Apply current concepts to total elbow arthroplasty Consider the post-operative complications and outcomes following anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty Identify humeral and glenoid bone loss and develop strategies to manage it as it relates to anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty Develop strategies for the treatment of shoulder instability Assess the options for the treatment of massive rotator cuff tears TARGET AUDIENCE Orthopaedic Surgeons, fellows, residents, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes shoulder and elbow surgery. ACCREDITATION Physicians: The Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. FORE designates this live activity for a maximum of 21 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
