The adjusted average accounts for the communicable diseases reported for March and esmates the number of expected cases for the month based off of data from The case classificaon status is included with each disease report and is subject to change once more informaon is obtained. Communicable disease acvity for March included cases of Chlamydia, Cryptosporidiosis, Gonorrhea, Hepas B (including delta) - chronic, Hepas C - chronic, Influenza-associated hospitalizaon, Salmonellosis, and Varicella. Gonorrhea, Hepas C - chronic, and Varicella were all above their expected baselines for the month. All other reported diseases were either at or below their expected averages. None of the reported diseases for the month required acvaon of the KCHD Epi Response Plan.
