2 The People Puzzle Why are some people easy to love, work for and befriend while others require constant effort to build or maintain a relationship? Because every relationship begins with YOU.

3 Why me Do you understand why you think and behave the way you do? There is real power in knowing yourself, what motivates you and how YOU impact the relationships in your life.

4 Missing a puzzle piece? Before you can learn to speak the language g of others and really communicate, you have to know more about your own language. g You are the most important piece You are the most important piece of the puzzle.

5 The Color Code Hartman Personality Profile The Color Code is one way to make sense out of life s relationship ppuzzle. There are FOUR Colors to consider Have you completed YOUR profile?

6 Red (Power) These are the power wielders. Power, the ability to move from point A to point B, and get things done is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of vision and leadership and generally are responsible, decisive, proactive and assertive.

7 Blue (Intimacy) These are the do-gooders. Intimacy, connecting, creating quality relationships and having purpose is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of quality and service and are generally, loyal, sincere and thoughtful.

8 White (Peace) These are the peace keepers. Peace or the absence of conflict is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of clarity and tolerance and are generally kind, adaptable, good listeners.

9 Yellow (Fun) These are the fun lovers. Fun, or the joy of doing something just for the sake of doing it, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of enthusiasm and optimism and are generally charismatic, spontaneous and sociable.

14 How do I communicate w/ Blues? 1. Emphasize their security in the relationship. 2. Be sensitive and soft spoken in your approach. 3. Be sincere and genuine. 4. Limit it their risk level. l 5. Appreciate them. 6. Allow ample time for them to gather their thoughts before expressing themselves.

15 How do I communicate w/ Whites? 1. Be loving and sensitive. 2. Be firm. 3. Provide a structure t for them to operate in. 4. Be patient and gentle. 5. Accept their individuality. 6. Be casual, informal and relaxed.

16 How do I communicate w/ Yellows? 1. Be positive. 2. Adore them. 3. Touch them physically. 4. Accept their playful teasing. 5. Praise them. 6. Promote Playful Activities.

17 So Now What? It is fun to learn more about ourselves and about others, so now What are you going to do to make a difference? Will you make the extra degree of effort? That could make all the difference.
