Her inspiration to become involved with the Society is her mother and her reasons to become involved are her children. She supports the vision, mission and values of the Society and believes that through research we will find the cause and the cure, so that our children will not contract this disease or be caregivers to those who are living with the disease. Fiona believes that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Together, she believes that we can move the ASOS team towards its goal of a world without Alzheimer s disease and other dementias. Fiona is excited about the opportunity to continue to serve on the Board and would be honoured to do so. CHARLENE CALLANDER Charlene Callander is the Director of Finance, Operations for SaskTel. He spent many summers and weekends working alongside his father on construction sites, taking in all that he could. A very patient man, his father was always willing to spend the time teaching his sons about his craft. In November of 2011, Jason s father was diagnosed with Alzheimer s disease and it has forever altered the family. Jason hopes that by being involved with the Alzheimer Society as a board member and using his skills, abilities and passion, he will be able to further the Society s work in education and research.
