3 How I Lost Unwanted Fat and Got to 7% Body Fat Now, looking at my picture... you may think that I've always been lean and muscular... that I was just born with great genes. But the truth is... I used to work out for hours and hours and deprive myself from the foods I enjoyed. And let me tell you, it wasn't fun. Especially since I was spending hours and hours a week working out... and STILL wasn't as lean as I wanted. But in 2009, my days of even having the time to work out for an hour each day came to a crashing halt. See, back then when the recession hit... I was forced to downsize my business AND my staff. Since I had to do everything myself... it made for some long work days. I'd leave the house before 6am and return home late at night after a stressed out day. When I got home at night... as much as I knew that I needed to work out... I was just too drained both mentally and physically to try and work out like an hour like I used to. Besides, it was a waste of time anyways because I had been working out for hours and hours before... following mainstream fitness advice and never saw any kind of REAL results. I started coming home from work, grabbing a big dinner, and plopping myself down on the couch to watch TV. And soon after I stopped working out and eating healthy... I started getting that skinny fat look... you know, the one that looks unhealthy, weak, sickly and tired. I started feeling depressed, constantly tired at work, and even got winded climbing stairs. So how did I get in the best shape of my life? And how did I manage to roll back the hands of time at the age of 42? How is it that I look and feel younger now than I did 20 years ago? How is it that I found a way to get in such amazing shape... I'm able to run circles around the younger guys when playing basketball or when working out? Well, I just got sick and tired of feeling how I'd been feeling. I wanted that last 10 to 20 pounds gone and wanted to feel healthy and strong, athletic, and full of energy like I used to. So one day I decided I'd do whatever I could to change my body and my life. It really motivated me and triggered what would be THE single best thing I ever did for myself. I went looking for the most efficient ways to lose fat in the least amount of time. I wanted a program that actually worked... 32 Yes, I can admit that having a really muscular body makes me feel good about myself. Now... if you would have asked me if this was even possible a few years ago, I would have said "No way." I Haven't Always Been In Great Shape... In fact, there was a time I didn't feel very confident at all in my appearance. It was because I had a VERY average body. I pretty much hated how I looked. I never wanted to take my shirt off at the beach or pool. Because I had almost NO muscle... I wore clothes that hid my body. Things like baggy t-shirts and huge track suit bottoms. I felt like a prisoner in my own body. I wanted a muscular, attractive body that stood out. But the problem was... I had no idea how to get one. I Had To Learn These Secrets Over Time... Through Lots Of Trial And Error! Several years ago in my life, I reached a point where I was so desperate to gain muscle... that I made a decision to figure it out for myself.
