2 This 7-Day Plan was created to kickstart your body into a Fat Burning machine! I have tried numerous so-called diets to see what works best with a sound training program. Too many trainers want to give you an exercise science lesson when explaining how to kickstart your training program. I don t know about you, but I hate it when someone can t just get to the point Just give me the damn plan I say! Sorry, but I have to put this disclaimer in here as I know there are some people out there that just jump into something even though they know their health won t allow it so: Disclaimer: This report should only be used as a guideline. It should not be considered as a replacement to any doctor s/physician s orders. If you are not healthy to compete in any exercise or you have some conditioning that prevents you from following this plan, please don t attempt to do the kickstart plan prescribed in this report. The editors and publishers of this report advise readers to take full responsibility when attempting this kickstart plan. Shall We Start? In my experience the best way to kickstart any training program is by eliminating carbs and dairy for a week. This sounds easier than what it truly is, take my word for it. During the 7-days you shouldn t do any strenuous exercise, as your energy levels might be very low. Eat as much protein, fat and veggies as you want. A good breakdown for the nutrients will look like this: 30-50% Protein 30-40% Fat 10-20% Incidental Carbs (Some veggies and Whey protein) Normally I would suggest eating chicken without the skin, but for this plan it is required that you eat the skin. This does not mean that you can go to KFC and eat their fried chicken! 2
3 Important Points Carbs are absolutely off limits! Things like: pasta, breads, potatoes, chips, junk food, rice, sugar, coffee, juices, honey and any fruit (fruit are filled with carbs). The chances are good that you may feel crap during this week, as this is similar to a drug addict going through withdrawal. You may experience some of the following symptoms: mood swings, variable energy and intense hunger. The biggest struggle in this week is to change your mindset and focus! Plan ahead for this week by getting all the groceries needed. You will always make extra food to cover your lunch for the next day. Don t give up by pushing through this week! Just think of the benefits, as your body is busy transforming from the inside out into one Mean Fat Burning Machine! The only liquid you are allowed to consume is Water and Green Tea, nothing else! With the massive amounts of sugars and sweeteners we consume everyday your taste buds are almost non-existent. This week will be like pushing a restart button on your body and making your taste buds love the taste of Fresh Veggies in the morning! Yeah! Supplements You don t have to use any supplements during this program, but I will recommend 3 that you can look at that will assist you in this program: ❶ Whey Protein U can find this at Dischem or any other store that sells supplements. This should only be used if you are training and you feel you need something AFTER training. ❷ Fish Oil The liquid is better than the gel tablets. ❸ Fibre If you don t go to the bathroom on a regular basis I would recommend using a fibre supplement, but if you are currently going on a regular basis adding a supplement might have the reverse effect. If you decide to use any of the supplements you should use it as follows: Fibre First thing in the morning Fish Oil 1 tablespoon with every meal Whey Protein AFTER training 3
4 The Grocery List MEATS VEGGIES OTHER 1-2 Packs of pork or chicken sausages 2 Cans of Tuna 500g Beef stir fry 2 Pork/Lamb Chops 1 Salmon Fillet 2 Chicken breasts 1 Sirloin Steak 2 Cucumbers Box mixed salad greens 2 Avocados Packet of carrots Green Peppers Onions Mushrooms Broccoli 14 Eggs Mixed Beans Whey Protein powder Fish Oil Fibre supplement Unsalted Cashew nuts Bottle Extra Virgin Olive Oil There are no real limitations on meat, but only consume fresh meat (Biltong can be eaten, but only if it s fresh from the butchery) without preservatives. 4
5 7-Day Meal Plan MEAL MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY On Waking Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Water + Fibre Breakfast (Fish Oil) 2 Egg Omelet 1-2 Sausage with Cucumb. 2 Boiled Eggs 1-2 Sausage with Cucumb. 2 Fried Eggs 1-2 Sausage with Cucumb. 2 Egg Omelet Snack Only if Hungry Lunch (Fish Oil) Tuna Pork Chops Beef Stir Fry with Brocolli Tuna Sirloin Steak Snack Only if Hungry Fresh Biltong Fresh Biltong Dinner (Fish Oil) Pork Chops Beef Stir Fry with Brocolli Salmon with Brocolli Sirloin Steak YOUR CHOICE! NOTES When preparing your food try and think of the most healthiest way you can do it. Example: Steam your veggies only extra virgin olive oil to cook the meat. I m sure you have noticed that most of the lunches consist of the previous night s dinner. Make sure you make enough food for the next day aswell. A smaller plate is always better. When you have a bigger plate you tend to dish in more food. If you are full STOP eating. Do not force the food down, rather leave some for later! Chew your food properly before swollowing. Drink lots of water during the day! 5
