Having a cervical smear test reduces the need to look for signs and symptoms of it yourself?

When detected early, most people survive cervical cancer?

You could have cervical cancer and not know it, as the early stages have no symptoms?

The best way to detect cervical cancer is to have a cervical smear test?

If I have gone through the menopause, I don't need to have anymore smears?

If I have had HPV vaccinations, I know I still need to have regular smears?

If I have not made an appointment for a smear after receiving reminders that have now stopped arriving, I can still call the GP to make an appointment. I do not have to wait until I receive my next invitation?

What were the reasons you did not book an appointment on time after receiving an invitation?

If you have had, or will be having a smear test in the future, which factors might influence your decision?

How did you find out about the staff smear clinics being held on ward 16?

What makes having a smear at your work place appealing?

Any other comments/suggestions you have about what you think might help more women attend a smear test?

What would be the most suitable time slots for you?

Have you seen any publicity or information on cervical cancer or smear tests?

If you have seen, or heard any advertising on cervical cancer and screening, what are the main messages you remember? Catch it early Do the test, early detection, successful treatment Importance of having a smear, regularly Need to get a smear done to ensure early detection Come and get a smear Symptoms not always apparent When did I have a smear? Am I due one? How 5 mins of your time can save your life The sadness of cancer Get checked early Stop fannying about Get tested early = better outcome

Anything else to add???? Have had previous smears in GP surgery, very painful experience. ward 16 this time staff all very understanding and professional, much more positive experience This is an excellent service. Please continue it Being able to attend after work is very convenient Staffed by unknown colleagues, great service to be offered to staff, hope it continues This clinic is excellent. Hectic schedule makes it difficult, coming after work better This is a very good service. I have been meaning to get smear test for some time but find it difficult to get time to go. This was an extra reminder and convenient appt time. These clinics are great as they can fit around work patterns and not needing to rush back to the local health centre Great service, staff very professional and helpful, really useful to have this in the workplace. booking, was easy. Thank you Great idea to give this service to staff. If I hadn't had an I would never have got around to organising it. Great to have the opportunity to have the test at work today. I was previously given the wrong info that as I was a lesbian I did not need a smear test done. Reinforce advice for all women to undergo a smear test Thank you, fab service as I was too busy to arrange with GP Enticed by cupcakes
