ENDOSCOPIC MUCOSAL RESECTION (EMR) One Technique: Several Techniques The focal EMR is done using a small cap that has a small wire loop that fits on the end of the endoscope. The nodule is suctioned into the cap and the wire loop is closed while cautery is applied. Non-Dysplastic BE Management: Endoscopic ablation therapy may be a preferred management option in select patients with NDBE, such as those with a family history of EAC.
