There a few things the committee would like to change for next year, but overall the event went better than imagined. Marcia Davis reviewed a financial report on the event. II. 2015 Partnership update & recruitment: Marcia Davis presented an updated report on the 2015 membership drive. The list of past members who have not renewed at this point were split up and calls will be made. Board members were encouraged to continue soliciting new and renewal members. III. 4th of July Fireworks Kevin Krull reported that an additional $385.00 was raised at the Blue Jeans and BBQ event for fireworks. New Business: i. Thursday Evenings on the Square - Marcy Brandt reported that the committee has been planning events for the first Thursday of each monthly beginning June 4th 2015. They are still working on filling the slot for the first Thursday but have musical entertainment set for July and August. Don Phillips suggested that Mary Smith be contact, as she is interested in putting together a community choir. Don also questioned if the events needed to be held on the square. Chautauqua Park was suggested as an alternate location. ii. Marcia Davis informed the board that she has received a request for Chamber help with a Craft Fair that could be held in conjunction with the Car Show event on August 22, 2015.
