Approve of a Solar Installation Project at Fire Station #25, in Hawthorne Florida; Authorize use of $57,000 of USRP funds and for staff to negotiate an agreement to perform the installation. (Amended) Amount: $57, Recommended Action: Authorize funding of the Hawthorne Fire Station solar project in an amount not to exceed $57,000 from the Utility Reinvestment Fund 210; Accept the rebate from Florida Power and Light in the amount of $40,640; Find that the County accepting the duty to indemnify in the terms and conditions of the rebate is in the best interest of Alachua County and that the Board accepts the duty to indemnify; Authorize the Chair to sign a Purchase Order for the Project; subject to an Emergency Purchase certification and procurement effort by the Purchasing Manager, in the amount not to exceed $57,000 and once the rebate is received that the funds be placed in the Utility Reinvestment Account.
