She was born August 30, 1962, in Paris, Texas, to Daniel Wesley and Edna Jean (Bowman) McCloud. She grew up in Paris where she graduated from North Lamar High School. On August 12, 1994, she married Kelly Moore in Paris. Danna worked in McKinney as a legal assistant for Karen Kathy, Attorney At Law. She is survived by her husband, Kelly; children, Lauren Ammerman and her husband Eric of Nevada, Texas and Jessica and Allie Moore of McKinney; grandchild, Landon Ammerman; mother, Edna Jean McCloud of Paris, Texas; brother, Phillip McCloud and his wife Terry of Celina; and niece, Sarah McCloud. Her father preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a visitation on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 PM. Memorials Edna Jean and family: Ron & I want you to know you have been in our thoughts and prayers. Our heart aches with you in your loss. You are facing what most parents hope to never go through_losing a child. Stay strong in your faith_god is with you. FAITH_FAMILY_FRIENDS are what has helped Ron and I get through the loss of our son. Just know we are thinking of you and lifting you up in prayer. To Danna's husband Kelly and children: Our thoughts
and prayers are with you. Love and prayers, Ron & Allison Byers Philippians 4:13 RON & ALLISON BYERS, AUGUST 27, 2007 I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Danna thru Lawrence and Rita Coward, and Chris Bolton back in the 70's. May God be with your family. CHRIS STANLEY SPARKS, AUGUST 27, 2007 I worked with Danna at McQuistion Regional in Paris in the late 80's. What a girl--such a sweet and loving woman and mother. She took pictures at my wedding in 1985 and I made maternity clothes for her when she was pregnant with Lauren. I heard recently of how sick she was. To Edna, Lauren, Jessica and to Kelly and Allie though we never met you, please accept our most heartfelt sympathies. You will be in our hearts and prayers. Her spirit will never be forgotten. Bruce & Gina Conley, Gallatin, TN GINA CONLEY, AUGUST 25, 2007 My mom and I just wanted to let you know how sorry we are to hear about your loss. I went to High School with Danna and she was definitely one of those people that you just don't forget. Just wanted to let the family know that we are thinking of you and praying for you all. We are truly sorry for your loss. DORIS TAYLOR DEBBIE TAYLOR MCENTYRE, AUGUST 25, 2007 How can anyone ever forget Danna after ten minutes of talking with her. I remember well the first gala that our hospital (McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX) had and she was working for our marketing director, Derald Bulls. She was so excited and was the primary designer of our logo in support of the theme: "Hofspital". She was such an artist, idea person, and all around fun person to be around. That smile could light up the world even when she was going through dark times. Ms. Edna, although I am now retired and living out of state, please know my heart, love and prayers are with you, Kelly, the girls, and that precious grandson. God bless you all. Sandy Keith SANDY KEITH, AUGUST 24, 2007 My heart and love goes to Edna Jean and the rest of the family. I wish I could have been there for you.
MARGARET ANN BOHALL STEWART, AUGUST 24, 2007 Edna Jean, Lauren & Jessie: Danna was like a sister to me for many years. We had alot of good times together & I loved her very much. I deeply regret not being able to tell her how much she meant to me & my family, God knows how much we loved her. I can just picture the smile on Danna's face as she reunited with Daniel, she was indeed the apple of his eye. All of my thoughts & prayers are with you. Love, Trish Pridemore TRISH PRIDEMORE, AUGUST 24, 2007 Our hearts are heavy to hear about the loss of this special, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. So sorry I was unable to attend the friends and family night or funeral. May God bless this family. HELEN R CLARK, AUGUST 24, 2007 Edna Jean, I had no idea she was sick. She was such a sweetheart. You tell Lauren and Jessie that we love yall and if yall need anything you better call me. Love always, The Davidson's MIKE DAVIDSON, AUGUST 24, 2007 I worked with Danna way back at Paris Bank of Texas in the bookkeeping dept. She may have been a VOE student. She was the funniest most enjoyable person I had every worked with. She always got a 3:00 hair do when she would run her hands thru her hair and make it stick up. She would say here's my 3:00 hair do. I will always remember Danna and have fond memories of her. I pray for you and with you during this very difficult time. Denise Jumper Harbison DENISE JUMPER HARBISON, AUGUST 24, 2007 We were so shocked to hear this passed week that dana was ill. was so shocked to hear that she had passed away. Have know dana jean for most of her life. She was truly a beautiful girl. We are so sorry for you loss. may god be with each of you during these trying times. She is no longer suffering and is in heaven with all of those loved ones who have gone before her. TEDDY AND PRISCILLA STAGGS, AUGUST 24, 2007 I was a childhood friend of Danna Jean's. She and I went to school together and we were always together. We loved to go to the basketball and football
games and support our school. One funny thing, I will never forget about Danna Jean is that she was a starch queen. Her blue jeans would be so starched they could stand on there own...and she was so proud of that. I would always tease her about how many cans of starch she went through a week. I'm glad I knew Danna Jean and was a part of her childhood. She will always be remembered and hold a special place in my heart. KATHY (ALLEN) WOODROW, AUGUST 24, 2007 I want to send my prayers to you and your family. The memories I have of you are from childhood and you were always funny and kind. We all drifted apart over the years but I have always kept you all in my thoughts and prayers. I give my sympathy to your family and pray for thier strength. I hate to say I lived here close to Mckinney for almost 4yrs and never knew you lived here as well. Im sorry for that and wish all of our family was closer. I loved you and I will still remember the Danna Jean when we were kids. May you be at peace and may your family find peace as well. Love Laurie LAURIE DOLORES "MCCLOUD" THOMAS, AUGUST 24, 2007 IM WAS SO SHOCKED TO HERE OF DANA'S PASSING AWAY. HAVENT SAW HER IN YEARS BUT GREW UP WITH HER AND PHILLIP IN WEST PARIS. SHE WAS SUCH A BEAUTY, EVEN AT AN EARLY AGE. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND PERSONALITY. HER MOM AND DAD STOOD UP WITH MY PARENTS WHEN THEY MARRIED YEARS AGO. THEY WERE JAMES AND HELEN CLARK. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU KELLY, PHILLIP, AND MS.EDNA JEAN AND KIDS AND FAMILY DURING THIS TIME. AND REMEMBER ALL THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES. GOD BLESS, TONY CLARK PARIS,TX. TONY CLARK, AUGUST 23, 2007 I am so sorry for your loss. I went to North Lamar School with Danna and even tho its been over 20 years since we graduated she was one of those people you remember...she had a great personality and from the picture she still has a beautiful smile...she is in a much better place, our human sides dont want to let go but spirtually we know she is better off. Our prayers are with you all..
KIM HUFF, AUGUST 23, 2007 My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Danna Jean. My family and I just found out a few months ago Danna was ill and now she is gone!! I am so saddened to hear she has passed! My sister and I were very close to Danna Jean. I remember vividly her great big smile, and that laugh, one you will never forget!! WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU DANNA JEAN!! MOSER FAMILY (PAT & CHERYL) CHERYL JO FLOYD (MOSER), AUGUST 23, 2007 What A sweet daughter Danna was.her mom is a wonderful mom and grandmom so I pray and know God will be with them. SCOTTIE SUE WALL, AUGUST 23, 2007 to danna's family- I am so sorry for your loss my thoughts are with you edna jean. i worked with Lt.Mccloud for 15 years he was the most respectable person i have ever met in my life im sure danna was the same. he always spoke of her with such love and pride. my deepest sympathy dahl DAHL RHEA ROSSSON/PULLINS, AUGUST 23, 2007 It would take a book to write all of the wonderful memories I have about Danna. From about 10 years old until our children were born, Danna was a huge part of my life. She was full of life and an absolutely beautiful woman. From church camp to skiing in Colorado, we were inseparable for years. I was messy and unorganized and remember she was always straightening up my room! She could things done in an hour that took me all day! Shortly after our children were born, we lost track of one another. I found out she was sick only recently. I wish I had known so I could have visited her and told her how much of an impact she had on me during our young years, and how much I loved her. I know how passionate she was about her children and how proud she was of them. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Love - Pat Rea PAT MOSER REA, AUGUST 23, 2007 Jessica, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm here if you ever need me. Michelle MICHELLE TANNEHILL, AUGUST 23, 2007 I was so sad to hear to of Danna's death. We ran around together in
highschool and she was such the life of the party. She had the biggest smile and was always so happy. Her smile and big bright eyes are the first thing I remember about her. To her family, I want to extend my thoughts and prayers for you at such a difficult time. Have faith, if I know Danna, she will be smiling down on you from heaven. KIM SNOW, AUGUST 23, 2007 She was a bright spot in my day for about five years as my secretary at McCuistion Regional Medical Center (Paris, TX). Her spunky attitude and 'never say never' attitude kept things lively. Many special events were a success because of Danna. She loved to pick on others and loved to 'dish it out'. As a young mother, I watched her make decisions that were painful but necessary for her and her family. She was the apple of her daddy's eye and she radiated when someone made note of it. My life is better because of her and may these, and many other precious memories fill our hearts and lives in her absence. Our blessings to Kelly and three precious children. Derald, Lesa, DJ and Haley DERALD AND LESA BULLS, AUGUST 23, 2007 We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter and sister. You both are in our prayers. LaJunia & Sharon LAJUNIA & SHARON MCNEAL/CRABB/CATO, AUGUST 23, 2007 To Danna's family--i worked with Danna at EDS in the Legal Affairs department way back in 1991 for a few years. She had a great personality and was a lot of fun to work with. I had heard a few months ago that she was ill, and now I wish more than anything that I would have tried to visit her. I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. AMY HAZELL, AUGUST 23, 2007 People come in and out of your life...some making a difference that will forever change the way you look at people. Danna was one of those people! She was as good as they get and always seemed to find a way to make me laugh! Danna loved being a mom more than anything and loved you girls more than life itself. She was an incredible mom! Lauren, Jesse and Allie...don't ever
forget how much Mom loved you. She was so proud of each of you and you could just see her light up when she was telling a story about one of you. And that sweet baby boy...you will never find a grandmother more proud of her grandbaby! She would just light up a room when she started talking about her little sunshine! Kelly...always know we all are here for you and the girls. I can't imagine the pain you all are feeling right now, but know she's not suffering anymore and she's in Heaven now with your Grandpa probably showing them all what needs to be done!!! She's now one of our guardian angels now and is always going to be with us. I am so grateful to have had her in my life and I will miss my dear friend more than you know. We are here for you and love you dearly. God bless you all!
