1 PHONE: (972) Alma Jack Jenson April 5, March 10, 2006 Mrs. Alma Jack Jenson, age 78 of McKinney, TX passed away on March 10, 2006 in McKinney. She was born on April 5, 1927 in Houston, TX to Frank Morgan and Alma Beatrice (Long) Busch. She married Myron Jenson on May 8, 1949 in Mt. Belvieu, TX. Mrs. Jenson received her Bachelor s of Art Degree from North Texas State University and taught school for 35 years. She was president of Texas A&M Mother s Club, Baytown,TX. Mrs. Jenson was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, and a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairview, TX. She is survived by her sons, Michael Jenson and wife, Judy of Houston, TX, Frank Jenson of Arlington, TX, and Chuck Jenson and wife, Louann of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Laura Jenson and husband, Steve Ellis of Portland, Oregon, Justin and Katie Jenson of LaPorte, TX, Morgan, Rebecca and Rachel Jenson all of Allen, TX; brothers, Frank Busch of Houston, TX, Jepp Busch and wife, Lynnette of Baytown, TX and Randy Busch and wife, Lois of Fredericksburg, TX; sisterin-law, Junelle Kubik and husband, Bill of Baytown, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and a multitude of dear friends. Mrs. Jenson was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 13, 2006 in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairview, TX with Pastor Paul Neumann officiating. Interment will be 5:00 PM, Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Montgomery, TX. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Sunday at Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials Mrs Jenson was my kindergarten teacher in I am thinking of her this evening as I pack for my kindergartener's first day tomorrow. It's amazing after all these years; I remember her tender voice and how wonderful she was to me

2 and my family. Praying that my daughter will remember her teacher the same way I remember mine, and continued prayers for your family as well. FORMER STUDENT, AUGUST 21, 2016 I'm so glad I was able to attend Jackie's visitation and funeral in Mckinney. She seemed so at peace in her purple dress with her red hat. She was my dearest friend, since birth,living across the road from one another until I married and moved away.she adopted my girls as her own before any of her boys were born. She became Aunt Jackie to all my family, kids, grand kids and great grands. She was always there for showers & birthday parties after she moved to McKinney, the last one in October. I am already missing our weekend phone calls to catch up on all the news and will really miss the times she always found a way to make a stop off in Tyler for a visit, even when it was out of her way. Things like that never mattered to Jackie! She always wanted me to make her some fried cornbread, like my mom made when we were growing up. I have always thought of her when I made it & really will now. I do hope that her boys & brothers will keep in touch with us. We both send our love & prayers. Alway keeping up with me, my children and husband. She was slway interested in what everyone was up to. My son is coming home from Japan in April and she was anxious to see him. As I was a classmate of Jepp's, a homemaking student of her mother's, an organ student of Frank's, and a customer of her dad's, Jackie's personal joyous touch blended those relationships into a Busch/Crumpler friendship which we appreciate from our Barbers Hill days. Her effervescent embrace every time I ever saw her is a treasured memory of her and an inspiration to better express friendship. I pray that each of you who mourn and miss her will recognize God's comfort in your journey of grief. She was such a sweet lady and a wonderful friend to my Mom. Hope to see you soon. MARK ROGERS, MARCH 14, 2006 Dear Ones, I have so many fond memories of Jackie. My first memory of her was from a family picnic where she had a new baby that I got to hold. Michael, I think that was you. Then as time went by, Jackie trusted me with the privilege of being the babysitter for three of the cutest little boys around. Jackie was always so good to me and my whole family- always supportive, always encouraging, always optimistic, always happy. My daughter Meredith was born on her birthday, and she was celebrating with Wiley and me at the old Baytown Hospital as soon as the school bell let her out. Meredith and Jackie loved having a mutual birthday and always had a great connection. She gave

4 Meredith a wonderful start in Kindergarten. Jackie recommended me for Delta Kappa Gamma, and of course. I joined. We felt so well loved when we were with her. Even under great stress, like when Myron s health was failing, she maintained her beautiful attitude. She gave a pure example of being a true Christian. Even though her death was unexpected, I know she was prepared. If I could choose to follow in anyone s shoes, it would Jackie s. Because she had a great love for and confidence in her Savior, today is an even happier day for her. We taught together at Travis Elementary and Austin Elementary in Baytown. Jackie was my mentor for my first years as a kindergarten teacher and she was so loved by all who knew her. Before WW II, my Dad and Pat Higgins had a 28 foot cabin boat, and they named it Jackie after her. I know that your worlds will not seem as complete as they once did before she left us, but all the great memories you have of her will help fill the void. Mrs. Busch was my home economics teacher at BHHS. I then taught next door Jackie at Travis Elem. for many years and just felt very close to her after we both left Travis.
