Cereza was born January 6, 1995, in McKinney, Texas to Enrique and Esmeralda (Gonzalez) Delgado. She is survived by her mother, Esmeralda Delgado of Melissa, Texas; brother, Jose Delgado of Melissa, Texas; grandmother, Maria Gonzalez of Prosper, Texas; aunts and uncles, Rosa Slough and Bobby of Prosper, Texas, Sylvia Gonzalez of Leonard, Texas, Carmelita Heist and husband, Larry of Prosper, Texas Ernest Gonzalez and wife, Donna of Mansville, Oklahoma, Eliasar Gonzalez and wife, Mary of Searcy, Arkansas, Jesus Gonzalez, Jr. and wife, Nelda of Weston, Texas, and Lupe Gonzalez of Austin, Texas, Lupe Melindez and wife, Lupe of McKinney, Texas, Nena Larez and husband, Antonio of Garland, Texas, Maria Hinijosa and husband, Joe of Chambersville, Texas, Ester Martinez and husband, Joe of McKinney, Texas, Ramona Padron and husband, Frank of McKinney, Texas, Edward Delgado of McKinney, Texas, and Ralph Delgado also of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her father; grandfather, Jesus Gonzalez; grandmothers, Lalo and Angelita Delgado ; uncle, Ygnacio Delgado; aunt, Rosalinda Gonzalez; cousin, Roland Melindez. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2007, at Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas with Paul Michael Vacca officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Memorials Hey girl, I don't know if you're suppose to sign these over and over again but i have to one more time. I love you so much Cherry. You were truthfully and honestly the best person on the face of this earth. I miss you so much lately;

I miss you so much, I know one day we will meet again in heaven. I regret never being able to say goodbye. I know one day I will be able to let you go and move on. 3 NICOLE HENDERSON, JANUARY 1, 2008 Cherry was an amazing girl with a beautiful smile and a caring heart. She was a pleasure to take care of while she was at Children's. I will always remember holding her hand for her IV's and talking with her at the nurse's station. She will be truly missed and she will never be forgotten. CAMILLE CRUZ, JANUARY 1, 2008 We all loved taking care of her here at Childrens. She always happy and smiling. We thank her for all the card & pictures she made for us! She will truly be missed. She was always a pleasure to take care of and loved to sit and chat with us at the nurses' station at Children's. She made all of us Christmas cards, making sure all of us had one and never wanting to leave anyone out. She was a truly wonderful person and she will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace, sweetheart. Our paths only crossed this past year as you sat in your hospital bed waiting for your IV. I walked in and there you where just a smilen away and ready to tell me how and where to stick you. So we hit it off right away and I loved visiting with mom about the old days. Our last visit was on friday Dec 21st I walked in and you told me your here please stick me. We got her done and then joked around a bit. That will be the way I'll always remember you telling me what to do and then laughing about it. You'll be missed sweet girl but I know your in a better place and no longer in pain. I'll think of you often and will treasure the moment when our paths cross again so until then my sweet angel I'll be seeing ya. Love Always, Michelle

4 MICHELLE DIBRITO, DECEMBER 30, 2007 I didn't know her very long. I work at Children's Medical Center Dallas and joined the IV team in September. We were always called to start Cherry's IV's. Cherry makes a lasting impression on you (and as many of you who knew her best had an infectious smile). She will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
