The diversified lecture program with international speakers will offer you a symbiosis of science and practice. The Ankylos implant system combines tradition and progress: as one of the first implant systems with a friction-locked tapered internal connection, it has been further developed continuously for more than three decades. Progress can be seen, for example, in the fact that the Ankylos system today is fully integrated in the digital workflow of modern dentistry. concepts as well as current scientific approaches. Aside from gaining knowledge, the aim of the congress is to sustainably encourage you to put those new insights into practice to the advantage of your patients. He received his PhD at the age of 24 with special distinction; he was then a research assistant at the Vienna Biocenter. An Erwin Schrödinger bursary enabled him to further specialize on human genetics at Yale University. At the age of 29 he was appointed an associate professor and became professor for medical genetics at 35. Markus Hengstschläger is involved in basic research at the Medical University of Vienna (discovery of stem cells in human amniotic fluid, research on congenital tuberous sclerosis, etc.), teaching and routine diagnostics in the field of medical genetics. Apply now and win one of three poster prizes. Ankylos Poster Award 2017 Ankylos, one of the first implants with a progressive thread and tapered internal connection, was introduced more than 30 years ago and since then has been connected with you. For over three decades our development has been based on the experience, feedback and therapeutic innovations of our users. In particular, young and motivated dentists and their sometimes unconventional ideas have inspired us. This is why we are inviting you to document your most beautiful, most innovative or most complicated case with Ankylos as a case study presentation in the form of a poster. All works submitted will be evaluated by a team of independent jurors. The three best submissions of any category will be awarded. If you are interested in submitting a poster, please visit the congress website ankyloscongress2017 or contact your local Dentsply Sirona Implants partner. The deadline for submission of the file with the case presentation is April 24, By the way, the first author of each poster will receive a 50% discount on the registration fee. 8
