It is my pleasure to invite you to the 11 th Zoboski International Seminar, where advanced implantology and regeneration techniques, prosthodontics, orthodontics and orthognathic surgery will all be covered. The Seminar is traditionally held in Hotel Grifone ( in Arabba, Italy, and is organized by the Slovenian Association for Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery (ZMOKS). Faculty members are experienced surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists and orthodontists, and come from all over the world: Aleš Vesnaver, Nelson Oppermann, Tadej Dovšak, Stjepan Siber, Bassam Rabbie, Rok Gašperšič, Adrian Kašaj, Kosmas Tolidis, David Dovšak and Vojko Didanovič. The seminar consists of morning hands-on workshops on models and animal specimens and afternoon lectures. Each morning, participants will be able to choose between two parallel workshops (see the Course Programme). This year s novelty are Fireplace discussions on Thursday evening. After dinner we will meet by the fireplace and all the Faculty members will have a short, 5 min presentation of an instrument or material that made their life easier. Participants are welcome to join with their own presentations, as well! 3 COURSE FACULTY Assist. Vojko Didanovič, MD is a maxillofacial and ENT surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. As the Head of the Oncologic team, his primary focus is oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Contact: vojko.didanovic@kclj.si Assist. Tadej Dovšak, MD, DMD is a maxillofacial surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is part of the Oncologic team, but also focuses on implantological rehabilitation in oncologic patients. Contact: tadej.dovsak@kclj.si Prof. Adrian Kašaj, DMD, PhD is a periodontist and works at the Department of Operative dentistry and Periodontology at the University of Mainz, Germany. He is well known for reconstructive periodontal and periimplant procedures. Contact: kasaj@gmx.de Assist. Stjepan Siber, DMD, PhD is an oral surgeon and works at the Health Center Osijek. His speciality is hard and soft tissue regeneration in dental implantology and periodontology. Contact: siberstjepan@yahoo.com Prof. Kosmas Tolidis, DMD, PhD, is a prosthodontist, Head of Postgraduate Program of Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Thessaloniki and Chief Dental Officer of the Hellenic Republic. His interests are in restorative-esthetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry and laser dentistry. Rok Gašperšič, DMD, PhD is a periodontist and works at the Dental clinic of the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Aleš Vesnaver, MD, PhD is a maxillofacial surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and at the Dental Centre Apolonija in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
