Gandihnagar To consider the Joint Inspection Report of the Council s Inspectors Dr. Anil Kumar Chandna, Gautam Buddh Nagar (UP) and Dr. Virender Goyal, Faridkot (carried out on 11 th & 12 th August, 2015) ) to evaluate the standard of first final BDS examination conducted by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in respect of BDS students of Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science, Piplaj, Distt. Gandhinagar with 100 seats. 1. Dr. Harshit Shah, Lecturer, Pharmacology was absent on the day of inspection. 2. Dr. Anandkumar Shah, Lecturer, General Medicine was absent on the day of inspection. 7(4) Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Jamnagar To consider the Joint Inspection Report of the Council s Inspectors Dr. C.L. Dileep, Sri Ganganagar and Dr. Shailesh Shenava, Navi Mumbai (carried out on 12 th & 13 th August, 2015) ) to evaluate the standard of first final BDS examination conducted by Saurashtra University in respect of BDS students of Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Jamnagar with increased intake capacity from 40 to 100.

There is deficiency in Administrative Staff i.e. Stenographer There are following staff were on Maternity Leave on the day of Inspection: (i) Dr. Dhanlaxmi Bhuva, BDS (ii) Dr. Mandakini Naliyapara, BDS (iii) Dr. Visha Tamakuwala, BDS (iv) Dr. Preeti Kalyani, BDS 3. There are deficiencies of 2 Lecturer. 4. There are following deficiencies in Non-Teaching Staff/Ministerial Staff: Dental Tech. (Dental Mechanic)-5, Dent. Hygst.-3, Radiographer-1, Electricians-1, Dept. Secretaries-2, Driver-2 5. There are following deficiencies of Major Equipments in Various Depts: Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics: Radiovisiography-1 (under e-tendering as per item no. 283). Periodontology: Laser-1 (under e-tendering as per item no. 294) Orthodontics: OPG with cephalostat-1 (available with Radiology Dept.), Typodont-4, Hydrosolder-1, Typhodont articulator-4, Pressure Moulding Machine-1 Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry: Radiovisiography-1 (under e-tendering as per item no. 294) Oral Medicine and Radiology: Pulp Testers-1, Radiovisiography-1 (under e-tendering as per item no. 283), General X-ray Unit-1 (attached to Guru Govindsinh Hospital, Jamnagar) Public Health Dentistry: Mobile Clinic not available, Mobile Dental Van-0, Dental Chair with unit-0, Autoclaves-1, Intraoral X-ray-1, Glass bead Sterilizers-1, Compressor-1, Metal Cabinet-1, Portable Dental Chair-1, Generator-1, Water tank-1, Oxygen Cylinder-1, Public address system-1, TV and video cassette player-1 Note : Subject to the confirmation of the said Minutes in the next Executive Committee meeting.
