2 Introduction CONFIDENCE treadmills have undergone thorough testing and have been certified safe and reliable for private use. Read through this manual carefully before beginning to use your treadmill in order to get maximum effect from your training. Keep the manual nearby so it can be consulted when needed. CONFIDENCE treadmills have a well-conceived design and offer the user many benefits. The treadmill is easy to handle and folds up easily for storage. The whole concept behind CONFIDENCE treadmills is the health benefits that can be gained through low intensity exercise; which in turn provide you with the physical basis for a good quality of life. Exercise has a large number of benefits and the ability to exercise daily increases when it is easy to train at home. 3 Safety Information Please read all the instructions before use to minimize and risks or injuries. The Confidence Magnetic Treadmill should not be used by people with physical conditions that limit user s possibility of reaching the control panel. The Confidence Magnetic Treadmill should not be used by anyone under 10 years of age. Pregnant women should contact their doctor before use The Confidence Magnetic Treadmill is only intended for use in dry areas. The Confidence Magnetic Treadmill is to be kept away from all wet or damp areas. Do not use or have any metal objects about your person when on the Confidence Magnetic Treadmill. If the Confidence Magnetic Treadmill is damaged or you think there may be a fault please stop using immediately and contact Sports PLC. The Confidence Magnetic Treadmill is designed solely for private use and not for professional use. All service and repairs are to be conducted by authorized personnel. Before use If the belt is off centre or making an unusual sound adjust it with the supplied Allen key. Do not place the treadmill on a thick textile carpet. Do not wear any clothing that is too long as it may get stuck in the treadmill. Empty your pockets before use. We recommend that you wear walking shoes/gym shoes, not shoes with a heel as this may lead to injury and damage to the treadmill. To avoid accidents ensure that there are no children or pets in the vicinity of the treadmill. Please ensure that there is a 2 meter clear area behind the treadmill as this will ensure getting on and off the treadmill is easier. 2

4 Exploded View To adjust the running belt if it is off centre, use the Allen key supplied and insert into part 12 left to adjust the running belt to the left hand side and part 12 right to adjust the running belt to the right hand side. 3

6 Step 1 Assembly Instructions Open the treadmill till the left & right upright is vertical. Step 2 Fasten the locking pin (30) into the main frame (1) 5

7 Step 3 Connect the computer wire with middle sensor wire (28) then fasten the console (27) on the handle bar (3). Step 4 Put the tension control knob (24) on the right upright (2), fasten it with the Philips screw (43) and flat washer (44). 6

8 Step 5 Cover the toe caps (8) on the main frame (1), fasten them with the Philips screw (42) to complete the assembly. I. 7

9 Step 6 Fold the treadmill and lock it in place with the locking pin (30) after exercise. 8

10 Exercise Monitor Instruction Manual Time Speed Distance Calorie Settings mins Mph miles Calories Key Functions Mode This key allows you to select and lock onto a particular function. Clear Pressing this will reset the value back to zero. Time Press this key until the pointer locks onto the time function, the total working time will be shown when starting the exercise. Speed - Press the mode key until the pointer licks onto the reps/min function, this will show the current speed during work out. Distance Press the mode key until the pointer locks onto distance, the distance of each workout will be displayed when starting the exercise. Calorie Press the mode key until the pointer locks onto the calorie function, calories burned will display. 9
