Received Hirsch Index (Year / Index) For the past 5 years: Received Impact Factor(s) (Year / IF) 1441 on the 5 past years including 633 in Why are you interested in joining the EACVI Board? - I m still passionate and enthusiast to give to the association what I learnt from her and what I know from my practice as a clinical cardiologist and a researcher in the field of cardiac imaging. I m convinced that the multimodality imaging is fundamental for a best clinical value of cardiovascular imaging techniques. I m mainly an echocardiographist but dealing with every modality all the time. Also, I m eager to combine modalities as a researcher but also, as a clinical cardiologist. - I m eager to push the association in that direction, always keeping in mind the value of each modality according to the patient needs. The association has to teach people, to conduct studies that use several imaging techniques but according to the clinical needs and always trying to prioritize the scenarios that are the most efficient and that are not systematically stacking every single modality in every single patient. - I would like to become Treasurer of the association for being in the executive board, to get a global overview of the action of the association and to best help promoting the action dedicated to the multimodality imaging and to improve the demonstration that imaging is key in the field of cardiovascular diseases. I got an experience of the association about issues related to: - congresses organization (program chair of Euroecho-imaging in 2017 and 18), - managing committee (research and innovation during 4 years) and section (echo-section) - the association organization with the central role of the committees. - managing project for the EACVI part of the ESC and how the ESC impact EACVI Elections to EACVI Board Page 6 / 7

7 - I ve been part of many IRT committee meetings, I m highly concerned by financial aspect related to the projects we have. I learnt about the past treasurers and presidents I m in line with. - Also, I know about the sensibilities of the representants of each modalities part of the EACVI. Being treasurer, I would be able to help promoting innovative ways of teaching, of researching in the field of multimodality imaging for the clinical field as well as for scientists building the future of our discipline. In the upcoming two-years, we will have an important responsibility building the first EACVI-congress and leading the discussion with the industries to promote new applications of imaging techniques to improve the way we take care of our patients.
