It is a focus for community engagement offering a range of Instructor led activities and self-led facilities and a beautiful wooded campsite with stream. Role As a volunteer you will support the Family Park & Campsite in all aspects of day to day life, including meeting and greeting visitors to the centre, checking campers in, supplying fire pits and other camping equipment, running outdoor activities and sports for both children and families, leading Campfires and story-times, serving food and drink behind the bar, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of both the indoor and outdoor environment, answering the phone and dealing with queries and much more. No two days will be the same, with a constant flow of campers, visitors, community activities and events; you will be the face of the Campsite and add enthusiasm and culture to everyone s experience.

2 2) MTV01-17 : National Citizen Service (NCS) programme NCS is a flagship government programme that gives 15 to 17 year olds in the UK the chance to learn new skills and get involved in their communities. We are looking for 6 international volunteers that have experience of working with young people and who want to help Concordia run an amazing programme of events to develop young people s potential and support local communities. The programme includes outdoor activities to build confidence and teamwork, workshop sessions to learn and develop skills, interaction with charity groups to get to know what the local community needs and how volunteering can be an important way to connect with people and make a difference in the area where you live. The NCS project needs volunteers with a certain amount of experience of working with young people and volunteering, and they need good English. I ll arrange Skype interviews with the short-listed applicants. The deadline for the NCS project is now the 3 rd April. I ve attached a promotional photo too. 3) LTV02-17 : summer 12 months Volcare Volcare is a small registered charity in south east Kent providing home based respite care to carers of elderly and/or disabled dependents with special needs. Volunteers help by getting to know the carer and cared for person and the daily routine and personal care needed by each individual family. Volunteers will then take over the carer s role for occasional periods of time. Companionship is a very important part of the role. Volcare help carers caring for people with: Parkinson s Disease, Dementia, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, head injuries, learning disabilities, Autism, and many more conditions. Volunteers need to be female, and able to commit to 12 months. The next places are available for people to start during June and July, so we can t currently take applications to start earlier than this.

3 4) LTV03-17 : summer 12 months Tiphereth Camphill The project works to create communities in which vulnerable children and adults with learning difficulties, can live, work and learn with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect. Tiphereth is looking for one or two male volunteers, who can commit for 1 year, who will live and work within their community. As a volunteer with Tiphereth you will live in one of their community houses. In the house you will help to support residents with all aspects of their lives. The next places are available to start in early August, so we can t currently take applications to start earlier than this. Applications needing a UK visa before sending through an application from a volunteer needing a visa to come to the UK, please make sure they are fully aware of the costs involved. They will need to pay for the following costs: UK visa for most nationalities, health surcharge fee (only applies for projects over 6 months) - 200, visa processing fee varies depending where they apply, but can be around 50, travel to the project in the UK flights/train etc, costs obviously vary, Concordia extra fee Once they have arrived at the project their costs will be very low (accommodation and food is included).
