1 Sheffield Mind Training Solutions Unlocking the potential of your workforce
2 Why choose Sheffield Mind? We re experts in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing. All the training we deliver is informed by our experience of being a leading deliverer of mental health services and wellbeing training in Sheffield for over 40 years. Each of our sessions is delivered by a trainer who is experienced, knowledgeable and who understands your needs. We keep our training sessions small, which means they re interactive. Each session takes up to 16 delegates, which means the groups are small enough to discuss issues with the trainer and share experiences with colleagues. We use case studies which reflect real issues in the workplace and allow enough time for delegates to exchange ideas. People like what we deliver. Feedback from the broad variety of organisations that we work with, consistently tells us that our training is high quality, valued and works.
3 Key Facts At any one time, one in five working people will have a mental health difficulty. Many will never get any help. Suicide is the leading cause of death among young people aged in the UK. Mental health conditions in the UK workforce cost employers almost 35billion last year; around 1,300 for every employee in the UK economy. Many of these costs can be reduced, simply through better awareness, better management and more accommodating, mentally healthy workplaces. Sheffield Mind are experts in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing, working with a range of private, third sector and community organisations to help and support them improve their approach to mental health in the workplace and with families and communities. Fantastic, thanks so much! The training was invaluable and will help us improve the support we provide to our customers
4 What makes us unique? At Sheffield Mind we only deliver training about what we know. All our sessions are mental health and wellbeing-related because that s what we re the experts in. Our sessions are tried and tested we encourage feedback from delegates and we use that feedback to improve and enhance training content; keeping it fresh and relevant. We re local and we know the local landscape. We ve been delivering Workplace Wellbeing for many years and we know what issues local employers are facing. We asked you to give us strategies for dealing with absenteeism, reduced productivity & low morale. Your training gave us ideas and made it all feel doable.
