4 We have a GET Board meeting on (this) Thursday to get our 30 th year rolling. Just a quick note to confirm that the next GET Group meeting is on Thursday January 31 st, the usual times of 9.33 onwards for a prompt start, until This meeting will be slightly longer as it incorporates our AGM. We also have two exciting presentation slots. We have the prospect, also to be confirmed in the next few days, of a brand new venue. If we fail to secure it on this occasion, the fall back option will be the Orchard Park Community Centre. Also a reminder that the GET annual celebration of adult learning event/happy 30 th birthday is now confirmed as Friday March 1 st, (including free buffet lunch). That is definitely at Orchard Park. 6 2 Day Mental Health First Aid Training Thurs 24th and Friday 25 th January :00 5:00 with lunch and breaks Meadow Childrens Centre - 1 St Catharine's Road, Cambridge CB4 3XJ PRICE as a charity or Social Enterprise (standard price is 245) per person. This course is a great opportunity to learn about Mental Health and the impact on people in our communities and in our places of work. You will learn how to help someone in crisis and at the same time gain a vast knowledge base of the more well heard of mental health issues. 6
