2 Who is Sylvia Coleman and how can she help your audience? Sylvia Coleman, BA, CMT, is a professional speaker who teaches people how to get out of their comfort zone so they can make money from their passion. A sexual abuse survivor, Sylvia got out of her comfort zone and published, "Creating a New Normal: Cleaning Up a Dysfunctional Life," a book that chronicles her recovery from sexual abuse, homelessness and clinical depression. Author s book soars to top of Amazon.com after long stint on unemployment PHILADELPHIA Out of work for more than a year, writer Sylvia Coleman, went from receiving unemployment to becoming a bestselling author on February 9. Coleman was working for pharmaceutical giant Glaxo Smith Kline until she was laid off October After job searching for several months, Coleman decided it was time to take destiny into her own hands and publish a manuscript she had written three years prior. The result was Creating a New Normal: Cleaning Up a Dysfunctional Life, an inspiring real-life saga chronicaling her successful recovery from sexual abuse, homelessness and clinical depression.
