See end of Minutes for corrections to November Treasurer's Report. (Sasha S will be unavailable for December and January. Randi K will assume responsibilities of Treasurer in her absence). Congratulations to Sasha on birth of baby girl. IV. RCM Report Jeff /Evelyn The South Florida RSC met on November in Miami Springs. All 11 areas were present. The RSC minutes will be attached along with this report. Anyone needing to review RSC minutes can do so from the RSC website at The login to download the minutes is sfrsc and the password is Honesty1. There are 2 motions that are coming from the RSC that need the groups to get a conscience on. One is a SFRCNA budget motion and the other is a policy motion. These motions are included at the end of this report. If anyone has any questions on any of these motions, please feel free to call me, and I ll help you out as best I can. My phone number is included at the beginning of the ASC minutes. We received the Conference Agenda Reports and will be distributing them at this ASC meeting to all the GSR s that requested them at the last ASC meeting, Anyone wishing to download the CAR can do so at, The login and password to download are shown on the site. This CAR includes some very important items that will need to be voted on by each group. These items include a new book called Living Clean and motions to approve in principle major changes to our local service structure as well as the entire service structure. Once the price of the CAR has been set, I will make a motion that each GSR be provided one copy. It will then be up to the GSR s to gather the conscience of their group on each of the items contained in the Conference Agenda Report. Our region has a different method for gathering group conscience on the Conference Approval Track (CAT), which are the new business items voted on at the World Service Conference. Since the CAT is not released until the end of January, our region holds a workshop at the March RSC, and all those who attend the CAT workshop are the ones who give our Regional and Alternate Delegates the direction on how to proceed with those items. Our next RSC will be held in the Gold Coast area on January at the Broward Community College North Campus on Coconut Creek Parkway. In Loving Service, Jeff P RCM Evelyn J RCM-Alternate MOTIONS TO BE VOTED ON BY GROUPS G: Motion # Maker: MidCoast 2nd by: Sunset Motion to read: To insert into regional policy on pg 13 under #5) Treasurer a new line (g) stating A copy of the current bank statements with account number blocked out along with the corresponding reconciliation shall be attached to the treasurers financial report and included in the regional minutes. Intent: To insure transparency and accountability of regional funds. Policy affected: Adds new policy concerning duties & responsibilities of regional treasurer on pg 13 under 5) treasurer. Rational: To create policy which supports our intent. Con: Using the term reconciliation, gives the impression that there will be reconciliation. GOING BACK TO GROUPS
