Note: anyone nominated at the February ASC can be elected at the February meeting. New Business: Motion 18/ Maker: Treasurer, Second: Pixie S. Motion: To move the P.O. Box from downtown to Coursey Blvd. Post Office Intent: More convenient to check P.O. Box. Results: Passed Motion 18/ Maker: James D., Second: Corey C. Motion: To waive suggested clean time for ASC Literature Supply Chair [Group Supply]. Intent: We have a willing person who does not meet suggested clean time. Results: Passed Motion to change ASC meeting time passed. New meeting time is 1PM. Concern for Serenity Seekers was brought to the table. 6 Joel V Events committee January Our next function is Valentines Dance convention fundraiser. Our convention committee has provided seed money, being a check of $ for the event budget. The event budget is listed below. Food John and Melissa Decorations DJ Drinks/Coffee Misc The Valentines Dance is on February 3rd at Grace Baptist Church. Guests are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert. Home made dishes are a crowd favorite. We have suggested donation of $10. There will be a photo booth, a 50/50 raffle, and music provided by DJ Troy. John and Melissa from Hammond will be providing a gumbo. I want to thank my committee and many others who are helping with the event. Unity day will be on April 21, With John from Hammond speaking at 11:30 am and Tracy from Greater Baton Rouge Area. John will be cooking a pastlaya for 75.00, already having been paid for at the 2017 Moonlight Madness camp out. For unity day our committee is considering renting a pavilion at BREC highland road park, to be discussed further at our next committee meeting. Flyer will be prepared to be handed out at the Valentines Dance. Game night is slated to be June 16, at University Baptist church. Midsummer fun is scheduled for August 2nd. Location to be determined The Moonlight Madness Camp Out scheduled and reserved at Bouge Chitto state park on October

We had a DOC orientation held January 20, Next scheduled orientation Saturday, April 21 at the South Baton Rouge Church of Christ, 8:30am 10:30am. Literature is needed. 10 January 28, 2018 ASR Report I went to Louisiana Region of NA Committee Meeting on January 6-7, The RDA was voted in as the RD, Ronald D. The RDA position was filled by Lee P. The Region still has an open position for PR. The 2019 Louisiana Regional Convention was granted to the Northshore Area.
