1 March 2018 Next District Meeting April 8, 2018 Mercy Medical Center (Mt. Eddy Rm) 914 Pine Street Mt. Shasta, CA 10:00 am -12:00 pm All members welcome! DCM Report March, 2018 Hello District, 09, It's a stressful time of year trying to get all the GSR's informed on what is being voted on for this year's Conference so that they can inform their group members and then get back to me by April 8th. My sponsor asked me early in sobriety, "Now that you have learned about the steps...then maybe you would like to know about how A.A functions and has survived for so long?" I really had to ask myself if I was going to be a part of A.A or not! Well it was nice to know that I have a voice in A.A and it was important to do my part to keep A.A thriving for generations to come. I will be attending the Pre-Conference Assembly this month down in the foothills of Sonora Ca. I will be informing our delegate of our decisions who will then travel to New York for the Conference. Thank you to everyone that took the time to attend one of the many A.A business meetings across the Siskiyou County last month and voted on at least one of the Conference Agenda Items. In Love and Fellowship, Tobin A. DCM District 09 Come join District 09 to be a part of the A.A. experience. We are currently in need of filling many positions: Grapevine rep. Recorder Step: 3 Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him. Tradition :3 The only requirement for A.A. membership is the desire to stop drinking. Concept : 3 To insure effective leadership, we should endow each element of A.A. the Conference, the General Service Board and its service corporations, staff, committees, and Executives with a traditional Right of Decision.
