2 SUMMER EARTH ADVENTURES: DAY CAMPS Teaching children how nature nurtures creativity! JULY 2017 Camp at the Chimney Hill Wilmington, Vermont We held three week-long day camps. The break down was: 21 paying children 30 scholarships 1 junior counselor We would like to thank our partners: Boyd Family Farm, Chimney Hill Home Owners Association,, Brattleboro Parks and Recreation We would also like to thank our counselors: Rebecca Sweeney and Carrie Blake

3 SUMMER EARTH ADVENTURES: DAY CAMPS MAKING FAIRY HOUSES SUMMER CAM[P Decorated Walking Sticks October, 2017 How it all comes together Magical Earth Retreats employs teachers to help with the camps. Rebecca Sweeney has been with us for several years now. She brings a wealth of knowledge and science to our days. Carrie Blake joined in the fun this year. Jane May Jones sets the programming up and leads the camps with the help of these wonderful people. OTHER PROGRAMS SCHOLARSHIP FUND Other offerings available RAIN OR SHINE We play in the woods Every year we give scholarships! It is our goal to have as many scholarships as possible. We raise funds year round to enable children from families in need to come to our camps. The registered children and our fund raising enable us to provide a magical experience for our participants. In 2016 we offered 3 full scholarships to children as well as 6 partial scholarships. 4 October, 2017 MAGICAL EARTH WOMEN Conference Connecting Women in Nature! Every two years we will offer an international conference included internationally renowned speakers offering solutions to help our audience rise from the remnants of their life and to inspire future paths to success. Reconnecting women in nature providing the opportunity for introspection, release and play while creating brighter futures for our participants. The profits from these programs help children to come to our summer camps on scholarship. Speakers The Radiant Enchantress Initiative has a large group of motivational speakers who would be a great addition to your conference or workshop. us at info@magicalearthretreats.com. Magical Earth Women helps women lead a positive, successful and fulfilling life. We run women s retreats, mini-retreats, circles and gatherings in nature. We teach the old wisdoms of listening and learning from and in nature. We are passionate about women gathering together and forming life-long friendships and support networks to help them achieve their life s purpose. Online Resource MagicalEarthWomen.com has resource pages which include our podcast show, inspirational books, websites, and more. This resource is being added to regularly. Mentorship The Radiant Enchantress Podcast Radiant Enchantress Initiative conversations with radiant enchantress world wide with the goal to offer solutions, motivation and assistance to women in their quest for their own defined success and to help them ensure the safe, healthful upbringing of their children. These conversations will be with women all over the world who have a story to share which fits with our mission and that will give hope and tools to our listeners. These podcasts are free of charge. We offer one-on-one mentorship for a six month period. This mentorship offers help in creating a resume, applying for jobs, getting prepared for an interview, dressing and attending an interview. Our mentors are all successful women, some are entrepreneurs and all have a wealth of knowledge about the business world Annual Report for Magical Earth Retreats Mini Retreats Are you lonely? These events would consist of inspirational speakers, empowering exercises and other tools to help you to find your purpose in life and to help you fulfill your reason for being. 6 FUND RAISING What has been successful! Magical Earth Retreats has done direct mailings to like-minded, socially responsible individuals and companies and also to previous parents. EDIBLES We journal about our findings THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS SUPPORTERS! These are the generous corporations and individuals who have made 2017 a success! Tuesday, August 11, 2015 In 2017 we have applied for one grant from awesomefoundaton.org to help with our Radiant Enchantress Initiative. The application is still pending. The results of these fund raising efforts along with the paying participants allow us to offer so many scholarships to children who otherwise would not be able to attend summer day camp.. YOUNG ADVENTURERS 2017 has been another great year! FOSTER CHILDREN IN ST. MARTIN We hosted the following number of children: Summer Earth Adventures (day camps): 26 No other special camps were run this year. 7 PROFIT AND LOSS Growth is envisioned INCOME CHART October, 2017 After seven years of operation we are starting to see improvement in our bottom line. In 2016/17 we invested in education related to running successful destination retreats which will help us expand our programming in the future. Public Support Registrations In 2018 we plan on running several women s programs. These gatherings and retreats will be profit centers and all profits will be used for the children s scholarship program, as well as some of our operating costs. Please note that in 2011 we received several large donations from family members. As such that skews the data a little for the five year period. 30% 70% Gross Profit Total Expense ytd INCOME AND EXPENSE INCOME Increasing fund raising efforts In 2017 we raised just under $1500 for our scholarship program which is less than in Our goal is to exponentially increase scholarship funds in the next few years. thus enabling us to dramatically increase the number of scholarships. We also increased the amount of registration fees by adding more summer camps. Additional efforts will be put in place to ramp up our fund raising efforts Annual Report for Magical Earth Retreats
