18 Knowledge of Resources wesforyouthonline.ca To promote mental and emotional wellness in youth aged 13 to 19 in Grey Bruce and surrounding areas, Services: online counselling, face to face counselling, group counselling sessions, w orkshops, seminars, guest speakers and a community resource centre. A helpline available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for people experiencing distress or crisis, Trained volunteers, supervised by professionals, provide caring and non judgmental support and work to empow er callers to seek solutions to the challenges they face. The help;one reduces reduces the risk of suicide, provides assessment, consultation and referral for access to other services in conjunction with the Ow en Sound Hospital s Crisis Team. w w w.w ecaregreygreybruce.ca The Grey Bruce W e CARE Project is an initiative of community agencies and school boards that work together to increase and enhance community capacity and mobilization to promote youth mental health and prevent youth suicide.
