1 May 2014 Volume 63, Issue 5 Riverside-San Bernardino Counties Inland Orchid News Inside this edition: Guest Speaker Society Officers Culture Notes Roster Changes FYI Meetings are held at the San Bernardino County Museum Second Thursday of each month 7:15 pm 7:30 pm. Casa de las Orquideas is a small family-owned orchid nursery specializing in cool-growing genera such as cymbidiums and zygopetalums. The business was founded by Loren Batchman in 1976 and is located in the coastal San Diego area. The business was passed down to Karl and Miki Batchman in Miki Batchman has been doing the lab work for the business, as well as display design, for several years. She will be speaking about flasking and what goes on in the orchid reproduction laboratory. Coming Events Refreshment Sign-up Other News Regular meetings are held on the 2 nd Thursday of the month.
