Casa de las Orquideas is a small family-owned orchid nursery specializing in cool-growing genera such as cymbidiums and zygopetalums. The business was founded by Loren Batchman in 1976 and is located in the coastal San Diego area. The business was passed down to Karl and Miki Batchman in Miki Batchman has been doing the lab work for the business, as well as display design, for several years. She will be speaking about flasking and what goes on in the orchid reproduction laboratory. Coming Events Refreshment Sign-up Other News Regular meetings are held on the 2 nd Thursday of the month.
