1 1925 Bishop Gallagher Council No PROMPTER Volume 91, Issue 2 ROYAL OAK, MICHIGAN May 2015 c/o Royal Canadian Legion Post 84, 1005 East 11 Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI Grand Knights Message Worthy Brother Knights, Once again we were able as a council to help several charities as a result of our fundraising event in April. Please see included article to see who volunteered. I challenge all Brother Knights to help on the next fundraiser as the same members continue to be the majority workers. This is our best way to raise the money to fulfill our first core principle of Charity. Together we can accomplish far more than any of us could individually. As none of us is as good as all of us. Come to our meetings and fulfill our second core principle of Unity. Please join us and help make us a better and stronger council. Elections are coming up next meeting. Any third degree member can run for elected office and help with the direction of the council. Talk to your fellow catholic men about joining the Knights of Columbus. Inform them of all the benefits available. See page 5. Contact Membership director Brian Cieslik, at cieslikb1@gmail.com, or myself at hornbacherconcepts@gmail.com. Please check the Dates to Remember for the list of upcoming events. We have a lot of different activities that we need you to be a part of. Please join us and think about how you can help this year. First and foremost, remember that you have a dedicated, professional Knights of Columbus agent whose job it is to help you consider your current situation, evaluate the options, and put a plan in place to help protect you and your family according to your terms and your budget. Second, whenever you do business with the Knights of Columbus, you get the added benefit of knowing that you re not doing business with any old insurance company, you re doing business with your insurance company, a Catholic insurance company, that is one of the most highly-rated life insurers in North America.**** So be sure to reach out to me today, and get the conversation started, so that you can take advantage of this exclusive portfolio of protection that s been assembled for you. I can be reached at or dave.parker@kofc.org. **** As of 7/1/2014, rated A++, Superior for financial strength by AM Best. 6 BISHOP GALLAGHER COUNCIL, No KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS c/o Royal Canadian Legion Post East 11 Mile Road Royal Oak, MI FAITH INTO ACTION: Knights of Columbus Bishop Gallagher Council No Since 1925 A Knights of Columbus council can work wonders; in fact, with its many programs, it can help change the community, town, city or neighborhood in which you live. However, a successful Knights of Columbus program depends on people taking the initial idea, modifying it to suit specific situations and local needs, then implementing the program in the way it works. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, family, fraternal, service organization. This theme permeates the entire Service Program: all Church, community, council, family, culture of life, and youth activities. Encourage your fellow Catholic brothers, sons, family, and friends to join. Prompter Printing Courtesy of Sullivan & Son ROYAL OAK UTICA 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd Hall Rd.
