2 Patuxent Moose Lodge # 2393 July - Aug Greetings fellow Moose members: FROM THE DESK OF THE GOVERNOR Hi, my name is Matt Griffith and I am honored to be your new Governor. I m 45 years old and work at Smartronix in Hollywood, my wife and I are both retired Air Force and moved here in 2013 and have been members of the lodge ever since. I would like to thank all the board members from the past year; they have done a great job getting the Lodge back on track since we were closed in May. Here are a couple goals for the Moose over the next several months: 1. Make sure all members are getting communications thru , Facebook or our website. We will not be mailing newsletters as it is an expense we can t afford right now. After we get things back on track with all the finances we might start mailing newsletters again. If you don t receive the newsletter in an send us an to moose2393@md.metrocast.net so we can add you to the list. 2. Getting repairs done in the social quarts. (Holes in the ceiling, painting, new lights, brighten up the lodge, new stools and more) 3. Getting the freezer repaired so we can start buy food in bulk to help save money. Fix the dishwasher in the kitchen. It would be nice to have it up and running by the end of Aug. 4. As always we are looking for volunteers to help around the lodge. If you want to get involved just see one of the officers. It takes everyone to make Patuxent Moose Lodge #2393 successful. No matter what your skills are there is always something you can do! I plan to do everything in my power to make a very successful year for the WOTM. With your support, ideas, and helping with functions, and coming to meetings, I know that we can do this without any problems!!! With Moose Haven and Moose Heart first on our minds, I know that our chapter will continue to do everything in its power to serve them to the best of our ability.
