2 Dear Colleagues: It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to participate in Colorectal Surgery Forum 2010 and celebration of the 30 th Anniversary of China Medical University Hospital. As you know, this is the first time we host an international forum in colorectal disease. The forum is scheduled for November 20-21, 2010 at. This Forum will be focusing on new technologies, new techniques, and controversies in colorectal surgery. In this forum, we have invited superb faculty from China, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and United States. Hopefully these experts contributions will help to ensure the highest level quality academic event during the forum. I appeal to all colleagues around Asia to attend this meeting and have the privilege and opportunity of updating your knowledge and skills through this forum, and most importantly to exchange your idea or experiences with our renowned faculties. Taichung is located at the central part of Taiwan, has a mild climate, with the yearly average temperature of 22.8 degrees-celsius, its four seasons feel like spring. It breeds countless natural resources and more than two million populations. People in Taichung are especially friendly because of the productive natural resources. There are mountains and rivers in Taichung area. It also has plentiful cultural and tourism assets. The sightseeing routes are mainly divided into three aspects: Mountains, Oceanside and hill areas.
