2 Dear Friends and Colleagues, It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Rome for the third edition of the Semi Live congress. The first 2 outstanding meetings were held in Heidelberg in 2015 and Semi Live has now become an international meeting! Semi Live is an innovative idea to promote and teach urological surgery. Well known authorities will present videos of surgical techniques in detail, clarifying tips and tricks based on their experience and there will be plenty of time for discussion. The comprehensive scientific program will include a Heritage session where 6 world renowned authorities will speak about their life experiences in Urology. What better way can there be to help the younger generation to understand and grasp the roots of our specialty? Another innovative feature is the Rising star session where young urologists will have a chance to present their videos on 4 surgical techniques chosen by the scientific committee. The winners will be invited to the meeting as guests of the organizing committee. The goal of this meeting is to present an up to date experience of all of the modern surgical procedures in our specialty. The comprehensive scientific program will include Open surgery, Endourology, Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery offering a wide spectrum of techniques to the delegates. We are enthusiastic about this extremely stimulating meeting. Semi Live surgery, state of the art lectures, discussions and thought-provoking debates will take place with the participation of the best urologists in the International arena. Rome is the perfect city where old antiquities, experience and innovative surgical techniques can find a perfect meeting point.
