4 The Mighty Sweet Potato Sweet potatoes are a good source of carotenoids Our bodies can use beta carotene to make vitamin A Consuming carotenoids regularly may: Decrease the risk of cancers such as breast, esophageal, pancreatic, stomach, and lung cancer Improve blood sugar regulation Enhance the function of the immune system

Boil in 6 cups of water until reduced to 3 cups. Add honey to taste and refrigerate. Add to hot water or club soda.
