The adrenals are small hormone producing glands that sit on the top of the kidneys. Their location is deep in the mid back under the lower ribs. The adrenal glands should make the necessary amount of hormones in a balance, without producing too much or too little. Adrenal Dysfunction Hyper Cortisol One of the major hormones made by the adrenal glands is cortisol. Too much cortisol can cause symptoms of: Weight gain around the waist Poor sleep/fatigue Elevated blood sugars Menstrual irregularities Increased thirst Higher blood pressure and even more frequent infections Cortisol production is usually highest in the morning before we eat, with levels gradually tapering throughout the day. Some people experience the opposite, low in the morning when they have terrible fatigue and high at night, not allowing them to get their much needed rest. ADRENAL BALANCE Helps Adrenals remain steady in the face of stress Chapman Adrenals Points Test Against Chapman Adrenal Points, Leg Length, Illiotibial band Apply Adrenal Balance at Chapman Adrenal point s (2" above and 2" to the side of umbilicus), and apply topically on the lower mid-back, one fist above the 12th rib on each side. Olfactory receptor stimulation is also effective. Adrenal Fatigue The adrenal glands were designed to deal with stress in small spurts rather than in periods of days or months (or even years). Chronic stress will overwork the adrenal gland to the point of exhaustion and eventually they become too fatigued to meet the needs of the body. Symptoms of exhausted adrenals include: Fatigue/poor sleep Sugar or salt cravings Low blood sugar A history of low blood pressure Skin rashes Allergies Depression and anxiety The Professional Line ADRENAL BALANCE Blend is uniquely formulated to balance and support both hyper and hypo adrenal conditions and consistently works on almost every client tested.

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY Assists in Regeneration of Damaged or Stressed Connective Tissue Inflammation is a normal process that occurs when your body s white blood cells and chemicals protect you from foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses. Most people don t realize that you need some level of inflammation in your body to stay healthy, however it s also possible, and actually common, for the inflammatory response to exceed what is physiologically appropriate. The inflammation then creates damage to the tissues of joints, the arteries, the organ, and especially the brain. If your immune system mistakenly triggers an inflammatory response when no threat is present, it can lead to excess inflammation in your body, This inflammatory state is a condition linked to asthma, leaky gut, allergies, autoimmune disease, heart disease and cancer. However, when the immune system mistakenly triggers an inflammatory response that exceeds what is physiologically appropriate, such as when no threat is present, it can lead to excess inflammation in the body, This inflammatory state can cause damage to the tissues of joints, the arteries, the organ, and especially the brain resulting in asthma, leaky gut, allergies, autoimmune disease, heart disease, and cancer. For example, joints that have become arthritic or chronically inflamed from repetitive usage are damaged by the inflammation itself Prolonged inflammation, known as chronic inflammation, can be caused by a malfunctioning, over-reactive immune system, or it may be due to an underlying problem that your body is attempting to fight off. Many of these problems are actually due to an unhealthy lifestyle. When inflammation becomes chronic there are often no symptoms until a loss of function occurs. This is because chronic inflammation is low-grade and systemic, often silently damaging tissues. Some common inflammatory conditions include: Apply to areas of the body that are where inflammation is experienced or suspected. Not for oral use The Professional Line ANTI INFLAMMATORY Blend is uniquely formulated designed to anti inflame and to assist in the regeneration of damaged or stressed connective tissue.

GALL BLADDER FLOW Supports Fat Digestion and Relieves Constipation The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ that stores and concentrates bile, a fluid made in the liver that helps the body break down fat and carry toxins (including old hormones) out of the body. The following causes bile to thicken, disrupting the flow: Consumption of hydrogenated and transfats, excess fats, or low fat diets Toxicity Estrogen Dominance common as a result of Menopause, Birth Control, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Deficiency of Bile due to Malnutrition or Dehydration. Chronic stress and thickened bile leads to an increase of thickness of the muscular wall causing it to become less flexible and more rigid leading to compromised function. Gall Bladder Dysfunction When there is not enough bile or bile is too viscous it prevents us from properly digesting fats and presents symptoms like: Test Against Chapman Gall Bladder and Murphy s sign Apply Apply underneath the ribs at the Gall Bladder (right side below ribs) and down two anatomical inches to follow the Common Bile Duct to the Sphincter of Oddi. Can also be smelled, by holding the bottle under nose for 3 or 4 breathes. Gall Stones Local Pain mid to right upper abdomen Nausea and Headaches that start on the left and move right Fever and Chills Floating stools Diarrhea Greenish Stool Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) due to blockage of The Professional Line GALL BLADDER FLOW is uniquely formulated to support Fat Digestion, relieve constipation, improve bile flow and tone of the Gall Bladder.

HYPOTHALAMUS Regulates Hunger and Balances Endocrine System The hypothalamus, a pearl size region of the brain located just above the brainstem, serves as the control center for messages received from and sent to the body, linking the nervous system to the endocrine system. The hypothalamus is constantly being bombarded with neural inputs, proteins, hormones and other messengers. It receives signals from internal brain structures (the cerebral cortex and the limbic brain) as well as from messenger proteins and the peripheral nervous system. The hypothalamus then coordinates messages from all areas of the body and determines the body s response based on the input it receives. The ability of the hypothalamus to receive clear messages from the body is critical as all outgoing endocrine responses are based on the clarity of these incoming signals. This interaction leads to a coordination of the following functions: Body temperature Blood sugar levels Regulation of water and food intake Satisfaction appetite, hunger Sexual function Waking and sleeping centers Growth hormone Regulation of digestive organs (HCL sufficiency, Liver bile production, and brush border enzymes) HYPOTHALAMUS Hypothalamic dysfunction The hypothalamus helps control the pituitary gland, particularly in response to stress. Damage to the hypothalamus may cause insufficient or inhibited signaling to the pituitary, which in turn impacts the responsiveness and normal functioning of the organs controlled by the pituitary gland: Adrenal glands Thyroid gland Ovaries/Testes Hypothalamic dysfunction can result from: Test Against Endocrine Organs: Adrenals, Thyroid, Ovaries, Testies Apply the smallest amount of oil (gently touch the top of upright bottle) on forehead slightly above the third eye (center of eyebrows and up 1 inch) Eating Disorders Acute and Chronic Stress Head trauma/ Bleeding/Tumors/Radiation/Surgery Infections and swelling (Inflammation) Toxicity The Professional Line HYPOTHALAMUS Blend is uniquely formulated to uniquely formulated to regulate hunger and balance endocrine systems

INTESTINAL MUCOSA Restoring Healthy Digestive Function Healthy Intestinal Mucosa = Healthy Digestion and Immune Function The small intestine, and the intestinal mucosa that keep it healthy, play a critical role in digestion and immune function. It is through the small intestine, not the stomach, that the food we consume is absorbed and assimilated into the body. The small intestine also serves as a barrier and a gatekeeper for our immune system, keeping undesirable organisms, like undigested food particles and pathogens (bacteria, fungus, yeast, toxins and parasites) from passing through the intestinal lining into the body. The intestinal mucosa protects the cells and nourishes good bacterial flora which in turn feeds the lining of the small intestine keeping it robust, healthy and able to support the final steps of digestion, allowing only appropriately digested food particles to be absorbed. Test Against Small Intestine points Apply Massage 2 or more times per day over the small intestine area (in a clockwise circle around the belly button) or at duodenum (Upper right quadrant starting at the pyloric Valve, 2" below xyphoid) or to the Chapman Reflex for small intestine (intercostal ). You can also apply on a warm wet towel compress. It also helps to smell the oil. Healing the small intestine is a critical component of all elimination diets and efforts to reduce systemic inflammation, including digestive dysfunction, chronic pain and fatigue and autoimmune conditions. Topical application is an especially powerful tool for anyone with impaired digestion who might struggle to digest, absorb and assimilate nutrients via the digestive process.. The Professional Line INTESTINAL MUCOSAL is uniquely formulated to gently permeate topically through the skin and heal the mucosal lining.

LIVER VITALITY Helps restore optimal liver function. The liver is a soft, pinkish brown, triangular organ located in the right upper quadrant of the abdominal cavity. It is the largest internal organ and performs many important functions including being a major organ of blood sugar regulation. It stores glucose (glycogen) for use between meals and it makes glucose out of proteins for when we need the extra energy. Without healthy function, sugar cravings are a constant result. The liver plays many important roles in the body, including: Converting thyroid hormones from T4 to T3 which is the usable thyroid hormone. Synthesizing protein. Producing the bile that emulsifies dietary fats that are digested in the small intestine. Receiving and sending out cholesterol to where it is needed for cell membranes. Making our steroid hormones. Playing a vital role in the detoxification process. Removing toxins that would otherwise destroy cells. Test Against Chapman Liver/Gall Bladder, Murphy s Sign, Third Rib. Apply at the Chapman Liver Gall Bladder point and/or directly over the liver. (The superior edge of the liver goes up to the 4 intercostal space on the right anterior ribs and to the 5 intercostal space on the left. The inferior edge is the bottom edge of the ribs from the right all the way over to the left lower edge of the ribs at the mid-clavicular line.) Olfactory receptor stimulation is also effective. Liver Dysfunction: Overload is Pandemic The liver supports almost every organ in the body and is vital for survival. At last count, our liver has five hundred functions that support our physiology. Most importantly, detoxification and fat digestion. Our exposure to toxins in our environment, our compromised food sources, drugs, alcohol, sugar and malnutrition are assaults to the health and the function of the liver. Infections such as hepatitis A, B, C, D, E, alcohol damage, fatty liver, cirrhosis, cancer and drug damage have all become more prevalent. Fatty liver is considered by many doctors to be the most common disease in America and is a major risk factor for diabetes, heart attack and cancer. However, the good news is that the liver has a great capacity to regenerate and has a large re- The John Tjenos Professional Line LIVER VI- TALITY Blend is uniquely formulated to redirect the liver towards healthy resonance and functional recovery.

LYMPH FLOW Increasing the circulation of the lymphatic system A Flowing Lymphatic System Prevents Disease The lymphatic system is an important part of immune function. If the lymphatic system is not working correctly, elimination, detoxification and immunity may be affected. The lymphatic system is the body's first line of defense against disease. It includes lymph nodes (with clusters found in the neck, chest, underarms, abdomen, and groin) and lymph fluid which moves nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to the cells. It also removes waste, toxins and other unwanted materials from the cells. Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system does not have its own central pump - - it only moves as the muscles squeeze it along. So the lack of movement makes the lymphatic system stagnant, with waste accumulating and excessive toxins building up. This toxic build up can block lymph nodes and vessels, causing them to swell, reducing oxygen availability, interfering with wound healing, and leading to infection. Test Against Illeum (Peyers Patches) - the lower right just above illeo cecal valve, Inguinal Ligament palpation Apply to sides of neck, lymph nodes under arms and around inguinal ligament (groin area). The Professional Line LYMPH FLOW is uniquely formulated to increase the circulation of fats and white blood cells within the lymphatic system.

PANCREATONE Tones and balances pancreas for optimal function The pancreas is located deep in the abdomen between the stomach and the spine. It secretes digestive enzymes that help break down and digest proteins (protease), fats (lipase) and carbohydrates (amylase) in the small intestines as well as the hormones insulin and glucagon which work together to regulate blood sugar levels. The Pancreas helps with digestive functions, producing and releasing digestive enzymes and an alkaline fluid called pancreatic juice. These are transferred via a system of ducts within the pancreas into the small intestine to alkalinize the intestinal contents. The pancreas also secretes digestive enzymes that help in the break down of proteins (protease), fats (lipase) and carbohydrates (amylase) in the small intestines. The Pancreas also produces and secretes the hormones, insulin and glucagon, work together to maintain the proper level of sugar (glucose) in the blood to be used by the body for energy. Pancreatic Overload & Fatigue is Rampant Stress-related cortisol in the body and the consumption of sugars or too many carbohydrates can force the pancreas to constantly release insulin, leading to pancreatic fatigue, low enzyme levels, hormone imbalance, digestive distress and Olfactory receptor highly effec- Rub on Pancreas Chapman point or pancreas (left front umbilicus 2/2 up to ribs) Test Against Chapman Pancreas Point, Leg Length, Apply to pancreas which is located on the left side of the body. If you put your hand on your belly button and move over to the left then up until you feel the ribs, your hand will be over the pancreas. Olfactory receptor stimulation is also Most oils are highly effective when applied to the soles. The Professional Line PANCREATONE Blend is uniquely formulated to tonify and support the pancreas for overall vitality and function.

Digestion Begins in the Parasympathetic State The brain and the autonomic nervous system need to be in a parasympathetic state to signal the vagal nerves, (two cranial nerves that extend from the brain stem to the abdomen). When you stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, all downstream digestive function improves. PARASYMPATHETIC Triggering the Parasympathetic response for Optimal Digestion This triggers all the parasympathetic responses in the digestive cascade, including stomach production of HCL, the release of pancreatic enzymes, the gall bladder s release of bile for fat digestion in the duodenum, the work of brush border enzymes in the small intestine and all the sphincters including the lower esophageal sphincter. Vagal Nerve Test Against Digestive points and Vagus Nerve (behind ear, anterior to mastoid bone on the neck). To LNT, apply oil to vagus nerve and re-palpate digestive points. Apply before meals to vagal nerve (behind earlobe on mastoid bone) The Professional Line PARASYMPATHETIC Blend is uniquely formulated to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system to optimize digestion, absorption and assimilation.

The Pineal Gland is a small endocrine gland located near the center of the brain that resembles a tiny pine cone. PINEAL RHYTHM Supports Healthy Pineal Gland Function and Circadian Rhythms The pineal gland is involved in several functions of the body including: Produces and Secrete the Hormone Melatonin Modulation of the circadian rhythms (sleep-wake cycles) and seasonal functions. Regulation of Endocrine Functions Conversion of Nervous System Signals into Endocrine (hormone) Adrenal signals. Dysfunction = Circadian Rhythm Dysfunction Pineal Causes Feeling of Sleepiness Addressing Pineal Gland function is a critical factor in rebalancing the adrenal output of cortisol. Our cortisol Influences Sexual Development rhythms are supposed to be highest in the morning and then wane as the day wears on. When people are active at night and slow in the morning, the cortisol patterns are reversed. This throws off the circadian rhythm because cortisol and melatonin have an antagonistic relationship. Elevated cortisol levels at night actually turn off melatonin production. Similarly, if melatonin is elevated then cortisol is depressed. So, without melatonin going up cortisol won t go down, making pineal rhythms an important factoring in balancing the adrenals and blood sugar. Key Indicators for Pineal Rhythm: Inability to fall asleep Inability to stay asleep Difficulty waking up in the morning Not feeling well after sleep Test Against Chapman Adrenal Points, Leg Length, Sleep Issues on NAQ Apply behind the top of the ears on skull and to the apex of the skull on top of the head. Caution: This oil is very strong. Do not apply or smell before driving. Not recovering from physical activity Drop of energy between 4 and 7 The Professional Line PINEAL RYTHYM Blend is uniquely formulated to support healthy Pineal Gland function in control the circadian rhythm.

PROSTATE SUPPORT Reduces inflammation and Increases Prostate Gland Vitality The prostate is a gland that lies at the base of the bladder, surrounding the urethra. It produces semen protects the delivery and fertility of the sperm. A young man's prostate is about the size of a walnut. It slowly grows larger with age. If it gets too large, it can cause problems. This is very common after age 50. The older men get, the more likely they are to have prostate trouble. Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) As men age, they experience enlargement and inflammation of the prostate which can lead to difficulties with urination. This is often caused by an abnormal overgrowth or inflammation of the tissue of the prostate which then blocks the urethra or the opening of the bladder. It is often considered to be a consequence of age. As we age, the conversion of testosterone converts into Dehyrotestosterone (DHT) and estrogen increases. Both hormones are considered causes of BPH. Prostatis -- An inflammation or infection of the prostate mostly seen in men from the ages of 20 to 50 due to chlamydia or bacteria from the urine which passes through the urethra and settles in the prostate. Men with healthy prostates do not experience this problem because prostates that lack vitality are often more susceptible to infection. Non infection forms of prostatis are also recognized and they can stem from auto-immune conditions. Prostatitis is often caused by a depletion of zinc and enzymes (which sterilizes the urethra and protects the gland from infection) seen with increased sexual activity. Symptoms of Prostate issues: Excesses in alcohol, coffee, and sugar can have the same effect. Difficulty urinating or starting urination An urge to urinate even when the bladder is empty Frequent or excessive urination Weak or interrupted flow of urine (dribbling) and a sense of incomplete emptying when urinating Waking at night to go to the bathroom Test Against Pelvis Points Apply to the pelvis Reduction in semen production The Professional Line PROSTATE SUPPORT Blend is uniquely formulated to reduce inflammation and increase the vitality of the Prostate Gland.
