In the week beginning Monday 23 rd June, in Block C Assessment Week, you will be sitting a short test on some of the topics you have studied this year. The questions in this homework booklet will give you an idea of the style of the test, and some of the topics which you will be tested on. Don t forget to ask your class teacher if you want to know any more about the test! As always, you should try to complete all the questions in this booklet. Don t worry if the questions at the end seem a little harder; they re supposed to be! Just do your best and fill in an answer, even if it s a guess, for every question. He predicted that all acids cure scurvy. I think that all acids will cure scurvy. Suggest a new prediction about a cure for scurvy that is consistent with the evidence collected. 13 7. One evening Jenny and Leah ate chicken sandwiches which had been in their school bags all day. There were harmful bacteria in the food. The next day both girls became very ill. Their doctor gave them antibiotics to take for eight days.
