1 - RESUME - Dr Annie McCluskey PhD MA DipCOT PO Box 3105, Regents Park NSW 2143 AUSTRALIA ) annie.mccluskey@sydney.edu.au Annie McCluskey is a registered occupational therapist, a health services researcher, educator, private practitioner and mentor. She has received over $4 million in research funding, published 62 peer-reviewed papers with an h-index of 16, and 1000 citations. Her research and teaching focus on translating evidence into practice, in addition to the feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of rehabilitation treatments to improve participation of stroke survivors and older adults. Her research has investigated community outings and travel habits, driving and scooter use, handwriting, self-care and sexuality. Since 2001, Annie has been a co-director of the OTseeker evidence database ( which contains over 10,000 records relevant to occupational therapy. In 2011, Annie established the StrokeEd collaboration with Karl Schurr, to provide evidence-based workshops to improve the skills, knowledge and practice of neuro-rehabilitation therapists, and influence the delivery of physical rehabilitation services to stroke survivors.
