This publication reviews the following: NSU identity Registration and Health Insurance Waiver Dress code Orientation week schedule Semester course schedule First semester booklist Orientation/Classes start May 21, 2018!! **Schedules are subject to change. All students must be available from 8-5 each day regardless of schedule as schedules changes do occur on a regular basis. Student will be updated on schedule changes as they occur.

2 NSU Identity Retrieve your username and set your password at This is your digital identity while you are a student NSU -If you don t know your NSU ID, use the last 4 digits of your social security number and it will give your NSU ID or N number (make a note of this number) -Make sure to set your password!

3 Registration Instructions Go to (Click on enter secure area ) *You will need your User ID (NSU ID Number) and PIN -Instructions on how to retrieve your User ID (NSU ID Number) and PIN are available on the WEBSTAR Login page or through the help desk (help@nova.edu) For step-by-step instructions with screen shots go to: **Use the course registration numbers found on next slide Important Dates!! 5 Important Registration Information: Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) must be completed to proceed with registration For questions about the SEA go to or call the Office of the University Registrar at (954) Payment is due to the Bursar s Office as soon as you have registered for classes Late fee of $100 is assessed on accounts 30 days past due (30 days from beginning of the term) A hold is also placed on a delinquent account that prevents future registrations, viewing grades, ordering a transcript or diploma. Click on the Tuition and Fee Assessment link on the Registration Menu in Webstar to review your tuition and fees for this term Log onto NSU s e-bill, available at to view your account and make payments online

6 Important Registration Information: Health Insurance Waiver is available for completion 24 hours after you register You must carry health insurance to be enrolled in the DPT program (can be your own or through NSU plan) If you have your own health insurance, you must waive the NSU health insurance or you will be automatically charged (no refunds if you do not waive) Visit to view information about health insurance and to access the health insurance waiver form To view your schedule click on Student Schedule by Day and Time or Student Detail Schedule on the Webstar Registration Menu To get to the Registration Menu, click the menu icon on the toolbar located in the top right corner of the page If you want to print your class schedule, click the printer icon on your web browsers toolbar

7 Dress Code Orientation: Professional dress required for the first day of orientation (scrubs to be worn after the first day) For men: trousers, dress shirt (necktie optional), socks, dress shoes For women: dress/skirt (of appropriate length) or dress slacks, blouse and dress shoes Students may not wear the following: shorts, cut offs, mini skirts (higher than mid thigh), blue jeans, see through clothing, tank tops, tube tops, or halter tops, sandals or sneakers, tee shirts (as outer shirt), jogging or exercise clothing Program Dress Code: Scrubs: Pewter gray matching top and bottom scrubs with student first and last name embroidered on left chest (white block letters, 0.5 in height) Scrubs can be purchased from the NSU Book Store or any store of your choice Lab Clothes: Navy blue shorts (men's and women's styles available) with NSU PT logo and NSU PT logo t-shirt (with sleeves) Lab clothes must be purchased in person from the NSU bookstore Lab Coat: Order by no later than 5/21/18) at - physical therapy -main campus link (go to the NSU bookstore to try on sizes) Clinic Attire: Navy blue NSU PT polo shirt, khaki pants, lab coat and supportive shoes (polo shorts ordered within first 2 semesters)
