Populations served have included people with Alzheimer s disease, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, progressive supranuclear palsy, aphasia, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, primary progressive aphasia, epilepsy, and intellectual disability. Speech-language pathology services have been provided in the clinic at the KUMC Hearing and Speech department, in the KU Hospital, in clients homes, in a long-term care setting, in a community setting (public library), and at the main office of Community Living Opportunities (organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities).
