This line of inquiry includes i) clarifying the natural history of older patient activity during and following adverse health events, ii) identifying linkages between physical therapy interventions and urinary incontinence, as falls, maintenance of functional independence, and early rehospitalization. Most recently, I have focused on the comparative effectiveness of non-surgical interventions for urinary incontinence in older women and how they impact physical function and fall risk.
