2 Welcome Letter Dear Colleagues, It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Pros and Cons in Vascular Surgery 2 nd Edition As you may have noticed, we renewed last year s experience by creating a scientific debate in a collegial and friendly atmosphere. We also chose a brand new venue where we can come together and discuss controversial subjects we often encounter in our clinical practice. The seminar has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive review of the most recent available clinical data, decision making and technical advances in both open and endovascular surgery. This year we promote the vascular access in hemodialysis and the management of carotid stenosis among other topics. Many distinguished Vascular Surgeons have joined the faculty and will take part in this seminar. This format will allow us all to engage in an active discussion and debate these «sometimes» controversial topics. We hope that you will enjoy the seminar and that your interactions with colleagues will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will be personally rewarding.
