The training has standardized patients with neurological disorders, and patients are recruited to be standardized patients. Completed: University of Colorado Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Safety Small Grants Program: Transient Ischemic Attack Clinic, Role: Principal Investigator Total Costs: $25,000 Description: This is a small grant for quality improvement research in which we developed a clinic to see patients with transient ischemic attack in the outpatient setting. The goal was to streamline the outpatient workup of this condition to prevent a hospital admission. We collected data on patient satisfaction and incidence of stroke following TIA.
