5 What do we know about young men and sexual health? Sid

6 About the survey Randomized, population-based survey of 30,000 young people. Response rate 26 percent. A drop-out analyse, drop-out adjustment. Analyses are based on 7,755 respondents 50 percent boys, 49 percent girls, and 1 percent non-binary gender. 1 percent transgender people. This group sometimes overlap, but not always, with the group non-binary gender. Sid 6.

8 Age of sexual debut How old were you when you had sex with someone for the first time? Question no years where the average and median age of sexual debut with a partner. Women: 16,1 Men: 16,6 Non-binary gender: 15,7 Sid 8.

19 Conclusion Take-home message There are health differences in SRHR based on gender. To promote young men's sexual health and SRHR: Work actively with knowledge based SRHR and give young men the arena for reflection and discussion about norms and stereotypes. Highlight and discuss normative power structures and how they affect masculinity. Work actively with equal opportunity and prevent discrimination. Encourage skills such as how, and when, to communicate about sex and sexual consent. Sid /05/2018
